Northerners sure get a lot of unjustified hate in this country, and it's so sickening how often almost everything they do is scrutinized.

I came across the video and the comments have been so disrespectful; There's nothing wrong with this eating pattern, and obviously that food wasn't even on the bare floor. There was some kind of nylon mat underneath, and people's foot weren't touching the nylon, but still people are saying all sorts like this is the most unhygienic and stone age thing ever. Mind you, this is nothing new, even in some foreign countries it's a tradition, and no-one makes a fuss. Many of us (Non-northeners) have eaten in groups from big tray pans while growing up, and with bare hands; So what gives you the right to condemn?

If you don't like it that's fine, however, degrading an entire region or ethinicity because you dislike something and out of sheer ignorance is truly pathet'c.

Governor Uba Sani and his allies know very well that Mallam is innocent. Yet, people like Mamman Lagos, Shehu Sani, and others do not want to see him regain his freedom because they fear his political influence.

After months of investigations, no credible evidence has been presented to directly link Mallam to any wrongdoing. If there is a genuine case against him, it should be presented openly and tested in court. Justice should be based on evidence, not politics.
