I booked two seats on United four months in advance. Economy plus, front of the cabin, row right behind the bulkhead, aisle and window. Paid significantly extra for those specific seats.
I am the kind of person who checks the booking the next day. I know this about myself.
Good thing too because they had moved us to the back of regular economy overnight. Not economy plus. Economy. In the back. The seats I had specifically not chosen because I had chosen other seats four months ago and paid extra for them.
I called immediately. No explanation. No apology. Just put us back in the original seats like nothing had happened.
And I knew. I just knew this wasn't over. So I checked every single day after that to make sure they didn't try it again.
Every day.
United made me this way. I was not always a person who monitored airline seat assignments on a daily basis but here we are. They moved our seats in the night with.......
Sometimes I imagine God looking at me with a smile, saying, “Baby girl, don’t worry. I’ve got you. Always.” 🤍
Then, just when I least expect it, He shows up in ways I never saw coming. Every single time He reminds me that He’s been working behind the scenes all along.
What a faithful, wonderful God. I’ll never stop being grateful.
