A man can build a beautiful house and still feel homeless in it. He can pay every bill in the house and still wonder, “What is my place here?”
You protect. You provide. You solve. Then one day you realise you’ve become the household’s ATM, security guard and emergency contact... but you don’t feel chosen.
What exactly does a man get from a marriage 🤔 Respect? Apparently optional. Submission? Suddenly a controversial word.
So what does a man receive from marriage that makes carrying all that weight worthwhile?
A man can build a beautiful house and still feel homeless in it. And that is the conversation many married men are too ashamed to have.
A man can lose a woman, a job, money, even his dignity for a season... and still wake up saying: “I’ll figure it out.”
That sentence has carried many men through storms. Cry if you must. Rest if you must BUT never seek pity.
Men don't chase love. They chase respect. Submission is part of the equation.
You hear women complaining that “when my man had nothing, I took care of him but now he’s got money, he doesn’t care about me.”
Yes, you took care of him but how did you make him feel when he was at zero. Men are treated like a burden when they're broke.
A man will never forget your tone when he was broke. He will never forget how worthless you treated him when he was at rock bottom. How your eyes rolled when he was talking to you. How you refused to answer when he asked a question.
He will tolerate being shouted at and under-looked but that very mistreatment shall re-energise him to work on himself.
A man forgets what you gave him. He never forgets how you looked at him broke. That look becomes fuel.
Tip Of The Day:
Never fight your brother or sister or relative who has betrayed you, or spreads falsehoods about you or relatives who clap for your blessings with teeth clenched.
Don't be bitter. It's not you who decided who your brother or sister is. Your father decided that for you. As soon as you dropped in this world, you immediately got related to many people without your consent.
Let them discuss you in the side group. Your destiny doesn't need minutes from their meeting. The world has enough drama. Don't add family cinema.
So, love them. Sometimes from a distance. Pray for them but don't fight any of them. Life is personal. Don't waste it on someone you only share a surname with.
Wishing you a nice weekend.

If everyone knows your next move... it's probably not your best move. Real wealth grows in silence. Noise attracts spectators. Silence attracts results.
She kept him when he had nothing, but her tone told him he was nothing. A man forgets what you gave him. He never forgets how you looked at him broke. That look becomes fuel.
Men don't chase love. They chase respect. Silence keeps the score.
People think men leave because they got money. Sometimes they leave because success finally gave them permission to escape the disrespect they tolerated while they were broke.
A four-year degree attained after seven years is still a degree. Graduating at the age of 50 is still graduation. A Mercedes bought at the age of 65 is still a Mercedes. Don't let people bully you with their timelines of success. You can do it.
People can damage your image, criticize your personality, and spread rumours about you, but they can never take away your good deeds. No matter how they describe you, you will always be admired by people who know you best.
At some point, you will have to disappoint others to live a life that is honest to you. People-pleasing will drain you, not save you. You have every right to set boundaries and choose your peace. You can disappoint people and still be a good person.
At some point, you need to get serious about your life—delete numbers, stay away from love that isn’t real, hustle harder, get your health right, your spirit right, your mind right. You’ve got to demand respect—not just from others, but from yourself.
