So according to the rules, the points distribution for shorter race distances applies if the race didn't resume. It seems it did, so we've got full points...so Max Verstappen appears to be a two-time world champion! This confusion sums the day up, doesn't it? #F1

|@F1 has announced @Max33Verstappen has won the world championship. Assuming the 50-75% race distance points are awarded, this is not the case. He would lead by 111 points after todays race and needs a 112 point lead to clinch the title today.

@TennisPodcast How come Barty does not stay No. 1? I don't know the rules, but to me it seems logical that she would be No. 1 as long as she's still got the most points, regardless of retirement.
