where are those IT cell "analyst" who said that India will buy Russian oil at own will.

US has put India on a leash and thats insulting.

Buddy, this permission was given as relief from 25% Tarrif, not the Russian oil.
They asked Indian Refineries to purchase the oil and sell it to Europe amid the crisis.
Major part of Russian oil is purchased by refineries, not govt.
- 30 days window is extend.

Middle East wanted to be self-reliant, thus this was done to show their status in front of US.

Thus, to control the global oil price tension they allowed India for russian oil
