@JesseBWatters First of all they have no power to end anything other than funding for the conflict. Secondly, it borders on seditious to do this during ceasefire negotiations. It is giving aid to the enemy. Shameful!!!
@WallStreetApes@bret8202 Kirk Bangstad has clearly violated the federal law by encouraging and providing the incentive for the political assassination. @SecretService, @FBIDirectorKash need to lock up Kirk Bangstad to make it clear for violence loving libs that their behavior will not be tolerated.
@snarfman0@MayraFlores4TX Even in small towns they want that.... like I said, I worked in food services for years. Only managers and cooks wanted a salary or hourly rate and servers tended to be the highest hourly workers in many places.
@snarfman0@MayraFlores4TX I think the compromise or best system is a tipped based system for the servers and even the hosts. Ask any bartender if they prefer a salary or to work on tips. Ppl want to have control over their earnings when possible. I think everyone is taxed too much btw.
@snarfman0@MayraFlores4TX It's not a capitalism problem because the alternative is no restaurants or worse service from restaurants. The competition (capitalism) is why they have to provide good food and good service. It's why the customer is presumed to be right. the rub is finding the balance.
@snarfman0@MayraFlores4TX I have a small business. I HAVE to pay my staff. When things get tough people get laid off. That is the WORST feeling in the world for a small business owner. I've gone w/o pay to make payroll. At times I WISH their work determined their pay. Ppl go get good service w/ bad food.
@snarfman0@MayraFlores4TX Think about a fast food restaurant compared to a sit down place. You tip the server in one place but not the other. The quality of service you get is usually a reflection of this. Even in places like Chick-fil-A that pay cashiers more, the servers earn more & service is better
@snarfman0@MayraFlores4TX I have traveled to Europe, Asia and S. America. People LOVE Americans and tend to give us better service because they know we tip based on performance. Tip based pay is better for the server ultimately. Being allowed to keep those tips is a HUGE win for them.
@snarfman0@MayraFlores4TX 2. ... and the desert of the day. They can't offer as much or they would go out of business. If you increase their labor cost by 300% they are out of business. That's only increasing server pay to around $7.50 per hour. PLUS the servers make more that provide the best service.
@snarfman0@MayraFlores4TX They would NEVER get that in an hourly salary from a restaurant. People here do tip which is cool as it is a blue collar hospitality town. But the margins in restaurants are already super low. I would okay with pilot programs by volunteer stores. Problem is these aren't working
@snarfman0@MayraFlores4TX Shifting from the tip wage makes it harder if not impossible to enter the market for new restaurants not a part of a national chain. Also, I live in a midsized town and servers here average $25 - 30 an hour. The issue is getting the shifts to make enough money.
@TheRealGAPeach3@RealDonKeith The DOJ will eventually charge him with violating her civil rights (1st Amendment). Those take time and usually result from a lack of state action. They already announced the investigation. They charge when they can convict. The federal conviction rates are INSANE!
