Every day I watch my mother wake up in pain and still thank God for another morning. Stage 4 kidney failure. Tumors. Procedures. Medications. Exhaustion. And somehow she still smiles at me and says, “Don’t worry, I’ll be fine.” But I can see it in her eyes — she’s tired, she’s hurting, and she’s fighting harder than anyone should have to.

I never thought I’d have to beg strangers for help just to give my mother a chance. She worked her whole life, never complained, never asked for anything, and she deserved a peaceful old age — not this constant battle just to survive. I feel helpless most days. I feel sick with worry. I cry when she’s not looking because I don’t want her to think I’m scared. But I am. I’m terrified. Losing her would destroy me. She’s the only person I have left in this world.

I’ve been posting everywhere I can — TikTok, Facebook, Reddit — because pride doesn’t matter when someone you love is fighting for their life. I’m trying everything. I just want her to have more time. More comfort. More chances at better treatment. More days without pain. More mornings where she can breathe without struggling.
