I’ve made a post before saying the world doesn’t reward talent but effort
Couple years later I can tell you this couldn’t be further from the truth, especially in highly competitive industries
There is a certain point you can get to with effort and discipline, which will be an income cap of around $300-500k/yr
Anything more than that will require significant talent and obsession, passion if you will
I’ve found this to be highly prominent in trading, people who want to trade to make money will at best be able to match the income they had at their 9-5
But people who genuinely have a passion and talent for trading will have no cap to the amount they can extract from the markets
Would love to hear opinions on this
Players like Citadel entering the crypto markets at a large scale actually changes how you should approach the game a lot
Eventually it will be way more efficient, edges in majors will crumble
Adapt hard or go into parts of the market they can't hold inventory risk
No its not lol, its totally single player
Cabals only win by coordinately shilling garbage to their low IQ followers who they then use as exit liquidity
Has nothing to do with crypto markets as a whole which are completely zero sum
POV: you got all your most cracked friends to move sf to build an ai startup
Revenue: $50k+ / month
Rent: <$1k / person
Sleep: 4-6 hrs / night
Mattresses on the floor: 7
If you're not doing this, your startup will never hit PMF
