@NEWSMAX All these deep staters probably bought options on the bear market they were creating throughout Biden's presidency. The plan was to run Biden, win, sack Biden, install Kamala. Every time Trump's economic plan wins they lose billions.
Bricks, baseball bats, metal rods and pipes, guns and of course knives all have a legitimate and beneficial purpose when used appropriately, BUT, Ms. Crockett, all can be deadly weapons in the hands of a murderer, including your fictitious example "Swiss army knife" blade if thrust into a vital organ can become an instrument of death, i.e. a weapon! And you're a lawyer? God help your clients.
@NEWSMAX Although it's frightening to think an airline could be so careless in hiring their employees, it is obvious he knows how to fly. I don't think anyone, even Forest Gump, could be "lucky" 900 times!
No, murders should (deserve) be sentenced to death, but in this case the Jury showed compassion in reducing the sentence to allow for repentance and reformation. This is a way of emulating God's grace in that we all deserve to die as a condition of our inherited mortality. He should avail himself of this grace while he is incarcerated and repent (stop being a murderer) so that he can be a productive member of society when his sentence is done. A person is dead because of his actions regardless of his intentions and we mere mortals don't know the intentions of his heart. Only he and God know that. This is why I tend to favor life in prison over the death penalty, but lose no sleep when an obviously guilty (caught in act) murderer dies by execution. There is plenty of time for a death row inmate to seek God's forgiveness.
The verdict is not really justice. If it were the perpetrator would be subject to the same fate as the victim. In this case the perpetrator will be able, if he behaves, to walk freely, without supervision, in his early 50's, while the body that contained the victim decays in a box, six feet below the ground. The Jury's punishment verdict make an excellent example of the Christian ethos that anyone can be reformed and find the grace of God. Maybe, this young man will remember, when he is free with a large portion of his life remaining, that he could have gotten 99 years of another man checking his excrement portal daily for contraband.
AI is doomed to fail because of one simple fact. In order for a machine to be humanistic it must LIE. Error is baked in to its creation because its creator ERRS! Why in the world would we put critical, human life sustaining, systems in the hands of a liar. Look at what happened to America in just 4 short years with a liar at the helm. "Only God can make a tree"!
If a man can be a woman than a white human can be black if they choose. So "black woman" in any argument regarding the human experience is a "no sequitur". Sorry Ms. Crockett your libtard party can't have it both ways. Admit men can't be women or forever drop the "woe is us" racial equality DEI BS.
The community note assumes the hand drawn "straight lines" are in fact straight. But the angles indicated in the problem occupy 3 of 4 slices of a circle. The missing slice ends at the beginning of the first thus completing the circle (360 degrees). Not every one knows how to draw a straight line but a closed circular system that starts and stops at the same point is 360 degrees regardless of how well or sloppily drawn.
@RapidResponse47 A NBA finals crowd is not a representative sampling of Americans because the vast majority of Americans can't afford to attend any game let alone the finals.
Well, please correct me if I'm mistaken, but isn't that a reflection I see in the reflecting pool? The people who complained before the construction was completed and said it can't possibly work were (and are) saying the same thing about President Trump's economic restoration plan. They forgot the tried and true adage, "The proof of the pudding is in the eating there of."! The Democrats have been crying wolf so long now that it's amazing ANYONE pays them any mind at all. It turns out their existential threat warning of a Trump presidency isn't about the economy, American Democracy or the soundness of our Constitutional Republic, it is infact their own party's dissolution and irrelevancy which now is as apparent as the beautiful Washington Monument's reflection.
Would love to see a meme that imitates Harvey Levin's "I'm a lawyer" with this chowder head's face with mechanical lips proclaiming "I'm a journalist"! (To be fair, Harvey Levin is actually a lawyer and his self effacing humor is well received by most, unlike this obnoxious hack and poor excuse of an entertainer who is obviously NOT a journalist despite her desperate and embarrassing pleas to the contrary. Ironically, she sounds more like a prosecutor stuck with an unwinnable case than a Journalist seeking truth!)
I posted my answer then looked to see others who answered correctly and to my surprise way (WAAAAY) more than 2% saw the "hidden" number. Makes me wonder about the real reason people are posting these brain teasers, word problems and trick questions ("bar tricks"). All of the reposters imply that only a few get the correct answer yet almost everyone who responds gets it right. Is this a money for clicks scheme? I've been answering spontaneously. Is there a way to know who may be using a search engine before posting their answer? I'm not smugly "Just Asking" or with disgustingly false humility and/or snarkily accusatorial tone "Just Saying" as so many obnoxious trolls do.
The sad thing about free speech is that it is all to often manifested as pejorative vitriol. AND YET, the beautiful thing about free speech is we can respond in love and wish that this aparently lost individual finds something noble to love rather than sowing discord. Posting hateful wishes of retribution and fiery judgement only perpetuates the hate that separates men from the God of love whom we worship. Jesus prayed that God would forgive those that mocked him as he hang dying. We should follow that example here.
