Cold as ice, bold as fire. Trans. Student. Activist. He/him/his.

@gRantairrible I can't believe we managed to both get disowned within the space of 10 minutes.

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

@sapientialibere @COURFlyromance thank you. I'm not feeling great right now but that means a lot.

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

So. My parents just cut me off and disowned me...

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

Oh my god. @gRantairrible and I are getting married in less than 9 weeks.

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

I'm here, I'm queer, and I'm overdosing on caffeine.

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

@montparknife I second this notion.

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

Sometimes I remember my parents wanted to send me to an 'all girls' school and I wonder what level of repressed I'd be today if they had.

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

@gRantairrible "Do you want some of my pasta? Not in like, a gay way." - ??? Did you just 'no homo' me?

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

@gRantairrible it was unrelated to valentines day I just so happened to want to remind you of my affections I'm not a bourgeois sympathiser

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

@larkprincess this is true.

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

@COURFlyromance @larkprincess I came out as trans via a long angry speech at a family dinner party. Wouldn't recommend that either honestly

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

@sweaterfuzz if you call oiling the machine of capitalism with the blood of the working class cute then sure.

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

@COURFlyromance I just want to be certain you know how much I care about and appreciate you.

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

That said, insert warm sentiments towards @gRantairrible here.

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
This holiday is a capitalist and heteronormative sham designed to guilt people into spending money.

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

@montparknife @gRantairrible for crying out loud that was nothing sexual, just annoying.

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

@COURFlyromance however little that may be is important. Temporary solutions should not be considered illegitimate due to being temporary.

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

@COURFlyromance demanding great social and political shift is the way to go, certainly. But what nonprofit charities can achieve (pt 3)

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

@COURFlyromance social and economic changes alongside. A longterm ideal must also be tempered with what is achievable immediately (pt 2)

[Enjolras @Enjolras1758]

@COURFlyromance giving excess wealth to charities I know to be nonprofit isn't exactly a harmful practice when I am ALSO rallying for (pt 1)
