🚨Dario Baccin, Inter’s new sporting director, watched Monza striker Gustavo Varela’s performance with particular interest.
The Portugal U21 centre-forward is increasingly impressing with his performances in Serie A.

🔥 Inter and Carlos Augusto are moving forward on the contract renewal. Weekly contacts between the parties to try to reach an agreement.

💎 Sporting director Baccin continues to keep a close eye on Filip Stankovic. Inter are monitoring him to decide whether to bring him back, perhaps loaning him out again and postponing a final decision until the summer of 2028. He could then return to serve as the backup goalkeeper — or, who knows, perhaps even take on a bigger role.

🎯 Dario Baccin was in the stands for Monza-Cagliari (4-0) to watch several players already on his radar.
🇮🇹 Alessandro Romano (20) is the name that catches the eyes the most. One of Cagliari’s breakout players this season, also earning a call up from Italy.
🇸🇳 Paul Mendy (19), Cagliari’s promising young striker, has also been linked with Inter in recent days.
🏴 Inter have been following Jay Robinson (19), a forward on loan at Monza from Southampton, for several weeks. Robinson scored once, hit the post before Gustavo Varela’s fourth goal, and produced some quality plays.
🇵🇹 Inter have also been monitoring Gustavo Varela (21), who scored his first Serie A goal against them. He has now scored 6 goals in 6 Serie A appearances (brace today), or 8 in 7 appearances including two Coppa Italia goals.

🚨 Expected a meeting in the next days between Carlos Augusto’s agents and Inter to try to reach a deal for the contract extension. Inter want to keep and locking the left-back for a long time (2031) with an increase in salary. He could also be called in Brazil National Team for the friendly matches against Japan and Singapore in November.

🚨 There has been a discussion, and Martinez has been confirmed as the starting goalkeeper. Inter have no intention of changing their goalkeeper. Provedel will most likely be given a chance against Shakhtar, but not as part of a planned change in the pecking order. Martinez remains the first choice.

🚨 Inter's board is starting to doubt Josep Martínez after his latest mistakes.
In the summer, the club's idea was to sign a goalkeeper and Guglielmo Vicario was the favorite.
However, Cristian Chivu decided to prioritize other positions.

🚨 Qatari fund has expressed interest in acquiring a stake in Inter- the name circulating at the moment is Al Mirqab, a Doha-based family office managing the assets of Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani- known by the acronym HBJ. He is the former Prime Minister of Qatar and a cousin of the Middle Eastern nation's current Emir.
Sources have indicated that for now, discussions with Oaktree remain informal, and there is no guarantee they will evolve into concrete negotiations.
HBJ is a frequent visitor to Milan and has concluded 'major deals' in the city lately- including a80% stake in the building at Via Monte Napoleone 8 from the French group Kering for €1.1B and a few months later purchased Villa Certosa from the Berlusconi family for an estimated €350M.
According to Forbes, Inter is worth approximately €1.5B (including debt), while Football Benchmark estimates the value at €2.1B. However, some believe Oaktree has an even higher figure in mind.

🏥 Benjamin Pavard underwent clinical and instrumental tests this morning at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano.
The tests revealed a strain in the adductors of his right thigh.
The expected stop is at least 20 days.

🏥 Update on the injured players at Inter: still a couple of weeks for Stones, while Curtis Jones and Lautaro are aiming to return after the break. The English midfielder is slightly ahead in his path toward rejoining the group.

🚨 A major blow for Inter: Chivu will be without Lautaro Martinez for around a month. The Argentine will miss seven matches across Serie A (Bologna, Fiorentina, Milan and Como) and the Champions League (Shakhtar Donetsk and Feyenoord). He is expected to return after the international break.

💰 Oaktree’s directive: reaching the Champions League round of 16 is a must; otherwise, a star player will have to be sacrificed. Qualifying for that stage — which can also be achieved through the playoffs — is worth around €18–20m.
