The PGL App is taking its final shape ⚡️
After a massive development sprint, we are officially preparing the platform for deployment.

Trading in Pokémon TCG Pocket is broken.
Everyone knows it. Nobody's fixed it.
Until now.
How the old way works:
❌ Scroll through someone's binder
❌ Send a DM: "Hey, want to trade?"
❌ Wait hours
❌ "Sorry, I don't need that card"
❌ Repeat 50 times
How PGL works:
✅ Input your Haves and Wants
✅ The algorithm finds players with an exact match
✅ Swipe right
✅ "IT'S A MATCH" — trade completed in seconds
No rejections. No wasted DMs. No guesswork. The system only shows you trades that will actually happen.
This is the difference between building a trading platform and building a trading engine.
🔨 Building the infrastructure TCG Pocket deserves.
Building for the @pumpfun hackathon.
We rebuilt how card trading works.
The current experience is broken. You scroll through chaotic Discord channels, hope someone sees your offer, DM back and forth only to find out they don't even want your cards. It wastes your time and kills the fun of collecting.
So we built a Swipe interface to fix it.
How it works:
✦ Input your Haves and your Wants
✦ Our algorithm serves you a clean feed of cards
✦ You only see cards from traders who want what you have and have what you need
✦ Swipe left to pass. Swipe right when you see a match.
Algorithmic exact-matching.
No guessing. No wasted DMs.
When you match:
✦ Instant "Match Found" screen
✦ Jump straight into a direct conversation
✦ Custom card-picker built into the chat. Select your offer and send a visual trade request in 3 clicks without leaving the thread.
We basically built Tinder for Pokémon card trading. And it actually works.

PGL Dev Update: introducing Aura ✨
We built a native reward system directly into the PGL App. The idea is simple: reward you for doing what you already love, trading, collecting, competing.
How you earn Aura:
✦ Claim 50 free Aura every 24 hours from the top bar
✦ Complete trades
✦ Add your first 10 cards to your binder
✦ Refer friends
Everything tracked. Fully transparent.
How you spend it - the Aura Store:
✦ Single Card Hunt Boost (200 Aura)
Pushes your offer to the top of the queue for 6 hours. Find your match faster.
✦ Collection Boost (800 Aura)
Gives your entire binder priority visibility for a full 24 hours. Your edge if you're trading a lot.
✦ High-Roller Ticket (1k Aura)
Didn't qualify for a special high-stakes tournament? Your daily activity in the app can earn you a ticket straight in.
We put effort to create actual tools that make your trading and competitive experience better.

More coming 🙌
I spent 40 hours analyzing Solana meme coin launches this month.
Here's the uncomfortable truth: 97% are exits. The 3% that survive share one trait: genuine community utility.
Building in a bear, shipping in silence. This is how legends are made

Another big piece of the PGL app - done. 🔨
Just finished the full admin panel.
Everything we need to run a platform at scale:
📊 Analytics dashboard: charts, growth data, top traders, all live
👥 User management: search, filter, moderate in seconds
⭐ Aura points: bulk rewards + individual ledgers ready
🔒 Audit trail, notifications, conversation moderation, all wired up
When we scale and players hit the app, this is what keeps everything running smooth behind the scenes.
Next up: Aura points go live for players.

Build log for @pumpfun hackathon📋

Full visibility into everything happening across the PGL ecosystem, all in one screen. We want to be prepared to monitor activity especially when high amount of players hit the app at once.
Things are starting to take shape!
An open letter to every competitive Pokémon TCG Pocket player.
At Pokémon EUIC in London, Chris Brown, Pokémon's Director of Global Esports & Events, was asked about the future of competitive TCG Pocket.
His answer:
"With Pocket, what feels great for us right now is the Side Events, a casual way for people to meet up. There are no plans for it to be a main title."
No competitive scene. No ranked system. No esports. Just "a casual way for people to meet up."
Let that sit for a moment.
This is a game with 150M+ downloads. $1.3B+ in revenue. 2 billion battles played. The most successful mobile TCG launch in history. And the official position is: keep it casual.
Meanwhile, last weekend, 1,172 players from 45+ countries competed in a PGL tournament for $1,500 in prizes. 3,338 matches played in 2 days.
Nobody asked permission. Nobody waited for an official circuit.
The players decided this game deserved a competitive scene. So they built one.
PGL has been running tournaments for over a year. Thousands of matches. A community of players who take this game seriously, because someone should.
Now we're building the app. The full infrastructure that TCG Pocket was always missing.
Nintendo built the game. We're building the sport.
This isn't a protest. This is just reality, the best players in the world needed a home, and the people who made the game decided not to build one.
So we did.
If you've ever felt like the competitive side of this game was being ignored, you're not wrong. And you're not alone.
Welcome to PGL.
The league that was never supposed to exist, built by the players who refused to stop competing.
🏆 @pglfun
3,338 matches. 1 Goal. 🏆
Day 1 of the 30th Pokémon Anniversary Tournament is officially in the books, and the sheer scale of the competition was mind-blowing.
Huge shoutout to EzXarT, the absolute end boss and the only player to walk away with 25 points! 🔥
Massive respect to all the participants who battled it out, our incredible judges, and the whole team working behind the scenes to keep a 3,000+ match day running smoothly.
Next stop today: Top Cut! 🏁
This is exactly why we started building PGL.
Pokémon is the biggest gaming IP on the planet and yet its most dedicated players are completely overlooked, no competitive infrastructure, no card trading tools, no ranked system for TCG Pocket.
So we built it. Daily tournaments. 2,760 players grinding every day. App is on the way.
The opportunity was just sitting there. We picked it up.
3am. The duel-request channel is still going.
"Lfg." "Lets go?" "Ping me if u wanna battle."
"Still looking?" "Play?"
This is what a real gaming community looks like.
Not bots. Not clout chasers.
Pokémon TCG Pocket players looking for duels in the middle of the night for the love of the game.
2,760 members. Up to 5 duels a day per player.
Private match rooms. Live rankings.
Cash prizes every week.
These are passionate players, and we're building the infrastructure to take their competitive scene to the next level.
You can't fake this. 12 months of culture.
Join the grind 🔥
For the first time ever, a full competitive Pokémon TCG Pocket tournament, streamed live on @pumpfun.
🗓️ March 7th. The PGL 30th Anniversary Tournament
🎙️ Hosted and commentated by PocketMads
📺 Live on @pumpfun + PocketMads YouTube
Full brackets. Full production.
Live commentary on every match.
Pokémon esports has never been on @pumpfun before. We're making it happen: real competitive play, real stakes, live where the $PGL community actually watches.
This isn't a chart stream. This is organized competition for one of the biggest mobile games on the planet, broadcast on a platform nobody expected it on.
