Hello friends,
We are glad to be back on Twitter. We are working to get everything back in order as soon as possible and look forward to being the old us again. We hope we'll see you soon.
Enkare Review.
@Nnedi Dear Nnedi,
we have tried to bring back the website with all the works that were trusted to us for reading again.
This is the least we can do for now.
Be well,
Sanya Noel. For Enkare Review.
@spembleton Hello Stephen,
we are sorry for not having taken care of the works you gave us. We however have brought the website and the works back up and the works we published are available again.
Be well, and take care.
Sanya Noel, for Enkare Review.
@LizzyAttree Hello Dr. Atree,
we are actively working to restore all the works that haven't been accessible. Please bear with us for a little longer.
All the best.
Sanya Noel. For the Enkare Review Team.
@itsmeganross This piece likely gives you a headache, makes you angry but hopefully also makes you curious about this world that was built. We will be putting down the story temporarily,to be followed by a re-edit and accompany it with an Inside Fiction piece.
@itsmeganross Our intent in publishing this piece is to create a space for discussion around sexual abuse, trauma, paedophilia, religion,tradition among other themes that arise in this short story.
@itsmeganross We often publish our Fiction alongside a segment titled Inside Fiction to give more context to the writer's process, the character development and the ways that the story then lives in the world in our current reality.
@itsmeganross 1.) We did not include a trigger warning at the onset regarding the content and 2.) We failed to properly handle the particular sensitivity of the story involving children. and 3.) We did not have a ready to go Inside Fiction piece to accompany the story
@itsmeganross We don't publish stories for clicks or simply for shock factor and the editorial team equally found this story unsettling, triggering and explicit. We however thought it important, and made three large oversights in putting this up
@itsmeganross Publishing the story Little Entertainment Centres was in no way purposed to promote or endorse pedophilia and we recognise the reaction and distress caused by putting out this story
