@Ayanarinashi We need the opposite add-on.
No point in supporting someone that refuses to make use of technological advancements and as a result will have a worse product at a higher price.
Also Crimson Desert used AI, and nobody with a functioning brain cares.
First time hearing about your game, but here's my 2 cents, if it helps in any way.
You want some smoother, less rigid, more realistic animation for the player character... the zombies might not matter as much, but looking at this video that is one thing that stood out and would make me not consider the game, especially in today's world where there is such a crazy amount of games to choose from.
Anyway good luck with the game.
There's 2 groups that often are "forcefully merged"....
1) The people that point out that a game should not lose it's bright colors... and that is fair, because a lot of "realistic" games strip the color pallet for no real reason and that shouldn't happen to WoW or any other game.
Not everything needs to be gray.....
and than there's
2) The "retards" that think models with less polygons and poor animations make a game better.
Those that like to pretend tech limitations of early 2000s' are artistic choices...
Blizzard shits in their mouths by making billions and refusing to use any of that to update their game(s) to today's standards... and they are thankful for it.
This is how you teach a child to swim, and yeah he didn't like it now... but it avoids months of being scared of water and he will love water and be alright in it starting right from this video.
Most importantly it builds a lot of character, but the people complaining about it will never understand, since they never had parents that did their duties and help them build strong characters.
As a non-retarded person, you have agency over your actions. You see something for sale... and you have two choices "buy it" or "don't buy it".... not everyone is in such a fortunate positions.
Also the game does have a few problems... like the developers self-inserting into hookers, making them jobless.
I don't see the problem.
It seems all sides agree, that we need repel the "discrimination" bs... and allow people to freely associate however they see fit.
If it would work out like in their fantasy or not, is left to be seen... but people should be allowed to try it.
Freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom to own property are foundational parts of a free society, and it is a massive shame that we are not allowed to do so in a so called "free society".
Are you sure ur a developer? or are you trying to showcase why people like u really don't deserve to have jobs in this field?
You couldn't have picked a more retarded strawman argument...
We are discussing triple-A games (with a budget 30-40-100mil+), not indie games... cause both sides have hundreds of thousand of indie games that flop....
There are almost no failures in the east when it comes to tripple A... maybe a few in the last 10 years...
They consider games "under performers" when they make 3-4x the budget (exceptional successes by western standards btw)... while in the west we routinely have 100-200mil failures that can't even make back 10% of what it cost to make them.
@benmcoleman@NPCTherapy@TotallyNOTTrio I guess ur correct and it is, we live in the best time for gaming.
After all the overwhelming majority of tripple A games from the east end up being both good games and financial successes.
May western AAA studios also figure it out.
10k devs...unbelievable.
Imagine knowing that information, and knowing what kind of crap you put out as a company... and than having the audacity to think you deserve to have a job.
These people must live in some "fantasy" where they think their poor performance will never catch up to them.
Want to be shown love instead of hate?... DO BETTER!
Do you job properly and you will never be in a situation where players call for you to lose ur job... or the investors find out you are useless so they fire you.
Your job is fairly straight forward, make banger games that people love to play... so they make investors loads of money.
You don't need to self insert, you don't need to lecture gamers, you don't need to spread political messages... just make good games. It's not that hard (maybe it is for some).
Did this "amazing" team manage to figure out how to implement capes yet ?
It's not even that much about capes, as it is about how much of a talent-less waste of money some of the people working there are... when they can't even implement something as basic as capes.
I'm surprised we had to wait 12 years, to see this happen... hopefully the studio still has money to hire some competent people that can tackle the problems the game has.
@ReviewsPossum "X has tapes, Y has tapes"... you have nothing until u release something, otherwise you're just running ur mouth for attention, and ur statements will remain and should be considered false, by anyone with a higher cognitive ability than a dog.
Rent would be cheaper (20% of what it is now) if the government didn't mess with the landlords.
They have to deal with basically replacing anything that breaks and paying tax (layers and layers of tax)... and in the worse case scenario have people that pay 6 months, stay for 2 years (cause u can't evict them in a timely manner) and they also trash your house.
So when you pay rent, you don't just pay the landlord... you pay for other bad renters, you pay for the governmental tax and you pay for the "repairs/utilities".
But don't worry with the help of even more regulation things will get even worse, cheerio.
This would be absolutely amazing.
I personally have no nostalgia for shit graphics.
A WoW for adults, without crappy models and bad animations which were not chosen as a "artistic choice" but as a limitation of technology/budgets/user hardware and to appeal to young kids... reasons which do not apply nowadays.
If wow simply looked like the generated videos and nothing else changed I can bet it would have a massive influx of players.
Ofc what is under the hood it is way more important and it will suffer the same fate (as current wow) if those things do not improve.
@boblister_poole When laws are subjective and we allow subjective opinion to dictate outcome this will happen... and will keep happening... it's only a matter of how long will it take, not if it will happen.
He is not apolitical, this guy literally supports and pushes the government to regulate and interfere in various fields and it wasn't a problem when they did that.
When the government inevitably regulates him, it suddenly is a problem, just a twat, reap what you sow.
This people will never learn otherwise.
This is a great example of wasted tax payer funds... in more than one way.
Leave them there.
She choose to glue herself to the floor... if she doesn't get help for a few days I bet she will not do again.
Especially when she is protesting against the backbone of the economy... which probably pays for her benefits.
