HOW TO POSITION YOURSELF FOR SUCCESS: MEDITATION

Joshua 1:8(KJV): This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Positioning is not only outward, a matter of place or time. It is also inward, a matter of what your mind dwells upon. Meditation is the discipline that transforms the word from information into revelation, from something merely heard into something inhabited.

Many believers receive a promise, or a personal instruction yet never position themselves to manifest it because they never meditate on it. They hear it once and move on, expecting the word to work without their engagement through meditation.

If you do not know how to meditate, you do not know how to create - and if you do not know how to create, you cannot manifest. The law of manifestation is anchored in the mystery of creation, and creation starts when you master how to meditate on God's Word.

Learning how to meditate positions you for godly elevation and success. Hallelujah!

CHANGING SEASONS: DO NOT SETTLE FOR LESS

1 Kings 17:6-7 (KJV): "And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land."

When a season ends, sometimes, its provisions do not end completely. Like in Cherith, part of the provision may fail while part of it continues. Scripture tells us that the brook dried up, but it does not explicitly say that the ravens stopped bringing bread and meat morning and evening. Elijah may have continued receiving food, yet without water he could not survive on bread and flesh alone.

This is a warning for the believer who focuses only on the fact that some of the provision has been sustained by God. A door of opportunity may still be open, a title may still be attached to your name, a relationship may still function outwardly, while the deeper sustaining flow beneath it has already dried up.

Some stay in 'Cherith' long after 'Cherith' has finished its purpose, comforted by the provision that remains visible, yet blind to the provision that has ceased. Contentment with the flesh and bread of yesterday's provision can cost you the future God has prepared.

A man can die with meat in his belly and no water in his body, sustained on the outside, but starved underneath. Discernment requires more than gratitude for what still comes; it requires the honesty to ask what has actually stopped and why, even while other things continue.

Do not measure the season only by its lingering provisions. Be keen to ask what the end of a provision means for you and what God has prepared next. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Jeremiah 29:11; Romans 8:28

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for discernment in my seasons. I refuse to settle for the appearance of provision when the deeper flow has ceased. Give me eyes to see what has truly dried even while other mercies still linger. I will not mistake a lingering raven for a flowing brook. Lead me to the next place of Your true provision. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

CHANGING SEASONS: A LESSON FROM THE WIDOW OF ZAREPHATH

1 Kings 17:8-9 (KJV): "And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee."

At the brook Cherith, Elijah received provision without effort. Ravens brought bread and flesh; he neither sowed nor hunted. When God moved him to Zarephath, however, the provision changed shape.

This time God had commanded a widow, a person, to sustain him. Notice the shift. God did not send another raven. He sent him to an individual who was until then unknown to him.

Many believers only recognise the hand of God when it arrives supernaturally, without human agency. They have grown so accustomed to the miracles that defined their previous seasons that they despise the ordinary vessel God has prepared for their next season. Yet when God moves you from Cherith to Zarephath, He is teaching you that provision does not always 'fall from the sky'. Sometimes it walks toward you as a person, an opportunity, or a partnership you must humbly receive.

This requires a deeper posture of faith and humility. At the brook, Elijah simply waited. At Zarephath, he had to speak, to ask the widow for water and bread, to engage with a stranger who herself had almost nothing. Provision, in this new season, required interaction, vulnerability, and trust in the instrument God had chosen, even one as unlikely as a poor widow preparing her last meal.

Do not despise the vessel through which God chooses to sustain you next. Your "Zarephath" may not look like your "Cherith". Learn to discern the new season, embrace and honor it.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Kings 17:10-12; 2 Kings 5:1-14

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for the many ways You provide for me. I will never despise the vessels You send me. You open my eyes to recognise Your hand in the people, opportunities, and relationships You place before me. Give me humility to receive provision however it comes, and grace to honour the way You choose to do so. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

KINGDOM FINANCE PRINCIPLES: THE CURRENCY OF KNOWLEDGE

Luke 4:18 (NKJV): “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed”

Scripture notes that the poor will always be with us (Matthew 26:11). However, poverty is not merely a lack of material resources; it is also born of ignorance. Many people experience lack for the simple reason that they have not acquired or applied themselves to the divine knowledge and practical wisdom that creates, manages, and attracts true wealth.

It is for this very reason that when Christ defined His earthly commission, part of His first order of business was to preach the Gospel to the poor.

As a believer, you must intentionally invest in knowledge. Cultivate the discipline of reading. Study the times we live in and endeavour to understand how global systems work. Deeply study your specific industry, master your field, track its trends, and understand its operations.

Do not limit yourself; read widely across a diverse range of topics. Knowledge may be spread across different disciplines but it is entirely interconnected. In a book, you might find in a single paragraph the exact solution to a financial or operational bottleneck that has frustrated your business or career for years.

Expand your mind, master your craft and never cease to learn.

PRAYER: Loving Father, thank You for the liberating power of Your Word. It is my fountain of wisdom. Ignorance in any form is not my portion. Today, I receive a fresh appetite for knowledge and understanding. I receive the discipline to read and study what I must. As I increase in knowledge and wisdom, I experience increase even in my finances. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

My son, the curse of youth is having the strength to dig, but no land to plant.

A young man has the muscle to slash an entire acre before the sun gets hot. But because land is bought with a lifetime of savings, he owns nothing but his sweat.

The title deeds sit with the old man under the mango tree. He owns the whole valley, but his bones can no longer survive the rough soil.

Great wealth is only built when the sweat of today meets the sweat of yesterday.
