@FilmZealot @krassenstein @kenoba_d I’m happy to increase the va budget by 50%. But that money would have to come from defense spending cuts. And that is never going to happen. That 3.2 billion is the VAs budget. They spend 10% of the total VA budget(320 billion)on homeless vets all-ready.

@FilmZealot @krassenstein @kenoba_d They currently spend 3.2 billion a year on it. And that is about 10% of the VA total budget. I don’t see that number growing in line with cuts. The DOL has another 17 million in grants for efforts. The last admin brought vet homelessness down 7.5% in a year and 12%since 2020.

Because again ln the money spent here, if not spent would not magically go to vets. You want more money for vets good. But I promise you not one penny cut by doge will end up helping homeless vets.
