2/ In the Ring video from the last service visit, the technician mentioned he had gone to a white family in affluent Rancho Santa Fe with similar issue — and GE sent them a replacement after just that one visit.
I am a Mexican-American with the surname Flores living in working-class Chula Vista 91910.
Why does it take 5+ visits, weeks of delays, and endless “I’m sorry” emails for me while they resolved the similar problem for someone else in one visit?

UPDATE / FORMAL COMPLAINT: @GE_Appliances@MonogramAppl@ApplianceAlley@AGRobBonta @bbbpacsw @FTC@CaliforniaDCA
My brand-new $10,000+ Monogram ZISS480NNSS 48" built-in refrigerator (delivered Feb 14, 2026 | placed in service Mar 15) failed after just two months with a factory sealed-system refrigerant leak.
Case #23170342
Since the warranty claim opened May 20:
• 3 technician visits completed
• Sealed-system failure confirmed
• GE approved full compressor + evaporator replacement
• Parts have been sitting at my house for over 10 days
• I took time off and waited for today’s scheduled repair (June 26, 8am–12pm)
At 8:00 a.m. today: Technician didn’t show up → appointment cancelled. New date: July 8.
This refrigerator has now been out of service for over 6 weeks and will be nearly 2 full months down by July 8 — longer than it ever worked.
I’ve been patient, cooperative, and available for every appointment. I’ve received multiple “I’m sorry” emails and calls and been kept on cancellation waitlists. Yet when GE’s own technician fails to show, they offer no priority help.
I purchased a new premium appliance — not one that requires a major sealed-system rebuild after two months and then sits unusable for two more months because GE cannot execute its own warranty repair.Demand to GE Executives (Nolan, McCalpin, Charnas):
Immediately assign a technician to complete the repair in the next few days OR replace it with a new, unrepaired Monogram ZISS480NNSS at no cost.
I have Ring video from the first visit and full documentation.
This has gone on long enough.
UPDATE: Today I was informed that GE wants to send a 5th service technician to continue repairing my NEW #Monogram refrigerator. Sealed system rebuilt and recharged by 2 technicians over 4 hours. More than 5 days later, the refrigerator and freezer are still approximately 78°F. No cold air. No frost. No cooling.
Since my warranty claim was opened on May 20:
• Refrigerant leak confirmed
• 4 prior service visits
• Compressor replaced
• Evaporator replaced
At what point does a premium built-in refrigerator that failed after approximately 2 months become a replacement discussion instead of an endless repair discussion?
By the way the executive rep told me they need to continue repairs because they have only gone out twice - does she not read the GE notes or #Bodewell notes?
Ask me if you should buy #damagedGE or #damagedMonogram now!

At this point I have heard "I'm sorry" many times throughout this process. 92 hours later - the refrigerator is now at 78 degrees!
What I need now is not another apology. I need a working refrigerator.
My concern is no longer the inconvenience. My concern is that after four service visits and a completed major sealed-system repair, the refrigerator still does not function. At this point, I am looking for a resolution, not another apology.
I respectfully request a decision on replacement rather than another expression of regret.
Update: After escalating my case to the GE Appliances Executive Office, I was contacted by their Executive Customer Relations team.
I was advised to use GE's $200 goodwill payment to purchase a temporary mini refrigerator while I continue waiting.
Unfortunately, despite acknowledging my concerns, GE's position remains that I must wait until July 8 because the technician assigned to my June 26 repair appointment did not report to work.
The replacement compressor and evaporator have already been delivered. The delay is no longer due to parts—it is due to GE's inability to perform the repair they scheduled.
A premium built-in Monogram refrigerator that failed after approximately two months of service should not leave a customer without refrigeration for nearly two months while waiting for a warranty repair.
I remain hopeful GE will reconsider and provide a timely resolution.

This is beyond ridiculous. Premium Monogram ZISS480NNSS refrigerator — delivered Feb 14, in service Mar 15 — failed after only 2 months with a sealed-system refrigerant leak. Case #23170342
I have video of the first tech on 5/26 doing the nitrogen leak test, confirming he couldn’t find the source.
GE has now shipped the compressor + evaporator — I have the parts in hand today (6/15) — yet the repair is still scheduled for June 26 (10+ days away). My $10k+ fridge has been dead longer than it actually worked.
This is a clear lemon. Already escalated to Supervisor Dion. Replace it. #Monogram #GEAppliances #bodewell
@GE_Appliances Today is the day I was promised- 6 weeks and still not a working refrigerator. Still no call or text to confirm that they are still coming today! They better show up!
I purchased a brand-new Monogram ZISS480NNSS refrigerator. After only two months, it failed with a factory sealed-system refrigerant leak requiring major repairs (new compressor and evaporator). I did not pay $10k+ for a refurbished or rebuilt appliance. Please replace it with a new, unrepaired unit of the same or equivalent model under warranty. Continuing with repairs on this unit is unacceptable.
@CalHiSports I heard it was for clearing the bench. But since there was a timeout called - most benches go into the court at the time out. I believe there is a protest on the call - I am sure those never are reversed.
