Entebbe Road well represented as we welcome the International President in a historical moment. This comes after exactly 107 years since the association was formed. Uganda has never hosted a sitting International President. We serve.
We visited and donated food items to Kawempe home care, that started in 2007 and takes care of people living with Aids, TB and childhood Cancer Currently the home at New Hope Children Home has 70 Orphans.
In collaboration with the Lubowa community, Joint Research Centre, & Action 4 Health Uganda, we conducted various activities including:

👉🏽 Competitive Football and Basketball.
👉🏽Mental Health

We planned for Activities of May at the 11th Business meeting, and a Presentation by the Region A Chairperson Lion Atwine Charity, a guest speaker, and made a Presentation on Real-life Experiences themed Building Resilience and Emotional Intelligence in Service Organizations.
We made our mark in Naivasha, Kenya at the 22nd MD411 Convention and Yes Masai Land asked for water as we keep rocking to serve humanity. We were recognized for the services to the youth, voted for the DG. Thank you Kenya. Asante Saana. @lionsclubs
We held a hunger and relief activity where we donated food and cloth items, to the People With Disabilities foundation in Bunamwaya called Curantis Foundation.
We got a chance to interact with members of the foundation and the people under the facility who are disabled.
Entebbe Road Lions Club represented by Club President, who as well a cabinet officer was in attendance at the 2nd District 411B Cabinet meeting at Hotel Brovard in Masaka City.
While at the Meeting, Entebbe Road Lions Club was recognized among few clubs.
We held our business meeting where we discussed and planned for the activities of February, and celebrated a belated birthday for the Lions Founding father Melvin Jones. as promoting the spirit of lionism. We were graced to have a meeting attended by the MCC Lion Dans
With a partnership with @LifelineUg , we carried a diabetes screening to 141 patients as it is crucial for early detection, allowing timely intervention and management. We encouraged them to do regular check-ups help identify at-risk individuals, which enables treatment plans.
At @kingsway_school , Together with a team from @ASGEyeHospitals , we carried out Eye screening to 124 patients which is essential for early detection of vision problems and maintaining eye health. We as well Donated 56 eyeglasses that would help access clear vision.
While at @kingsway_school a school with a population of 2,638, we undertook a Diabetes awareness which is vital for promoting healthy living. Understanding risk factors, symptoms, and prevention methods empowers individuals to make informed choices. We Serve. @lionsclubs
It was a day well spent at the New Voices Symposium Fellowship dubbed as Fun and Catch Up headed by New Voices Chairperson Lion Nuwagaba Cathy, It sought to promote gender parity and diversity by increasing the number of young adults, women and marketing .

We held a home fellowship at our Immediate past President Lion Fabian Byomuhangi, who recently undergone an operation in India.
This was a courtesy visit to check and pray with him for comfort and quick recovery.
