Today, Division A officially ushered in a new leadership term with the swearing-in of the Chairperson and Councilors. The ceremony was officiated by Town Clerk Mugisha Emmanuel Gacharo and graced by His Worship Fabrice Brad Rulinda, Mayor of Entebbe Municipality.
The newly sworn-in leaders pledged to work together in advancing effective service delivery, good governance, and sustainable development for the people of Division A and Entebbe Municipality.

Entebbe Municipality witnessed the swearing-in of its political leadership for the 2026–2031 term. The ceremony was presided over by Her Worship Stellah Maris Amabilis, Chief Magistrate of Entebbe Chief Magistrate’s Court.
His Worship Fabrice Brad Rulinda was duly sworn in as Mayor of Entebbe Municipality, followed by the swearing-in of the Councilors who will serve alongside him during the new term.
In his remarks, the Mayor pledged to foster teamwork, unity, and accountability in leadership, emphasizing his commitment to timely & efficient service delivery to the residents of Entebbe.

The RDC Kyazze Frank, Asst RDC, together with the Department of Education & Sports Entebbe Municipality convened a meeting with the Municipality Head Teachers from kindergarten, primary, and secondary schools to strengthen learner safety and security, and prevent recurrence of tragic incidents.
Key measures emphasized: Deployment of trained, full-time security personnel (day & night)
• Strict access control with mandatory visitor screening & records
• Fencing of school premises
• Installation & active monitoring of CCTV systems
• Heightened vigilance across all institutions
• Increased inspections and monitoring of the BRMS in line with MoES guidelines

The World Bank Mission Team conducted a strategic review of the GKMA-UDP implementation status to identify measures to enhance program performance.
The engagement, led by His Worship the Mayor, Fabrice Brad Rulinda and the Under Secretary of MoKCCA&MA, included an inspection of ongoing infrastructure projects in Entebbe Municipality, including Kiwafu Rd and Ssebugwawo–Bunono Rd.
