It’s so frustrating as a McGregor fan to see new UFC fans bash on him.
This dude made what UFC is Today, he is the UFC.
Kids these days will never know how good McGregor was in his prime.
Seeing @TheNotoriousMMA get injured in the first minute is tough. It’s the harsh reality of combat sports,so many fighters get sidelined by injuries they can't control. Feel bad for Conor but you're the real champ.
MMA are what they are today because of you👑🚀
I don’t even know where to start. Five years of work just to get back to the octagon, and all that time away, only to have it taken from him again in one kick.
We even got a glimpse of him being truly back. The walkout. The Billy strut. The one, the only. For a moment, he looked every bit the fighter he used to be. As a Conor fan, and someone who he made watch the UFC in the first place, I will always feel like we’ve missed out on so much more of his magic due to injuries, boxing, etc.
Regardless of what these last six years have looked like for Conor, the game can thank him. Get well soon. This sport is better with you in it. ❤️ #UFC329
"I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times."
It's a powerful quote. It emphasizes an important idea, but, it is one-dimensional.
Bruce Lee may fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times. But if he had to fight him, his first objective would be to ensure that his opponent never gets the opportunity to use that kick.
If the opponent knows only one kick and is prevented from executing it, he becomes almost helpless.
To survive in a real fight, you need many weapons. You may have one that's exceptional, but you still need a well-rounded arsenal that you've practiced enough to rely on when circumstances change.
The same applies to trading.
You can't walk into every match with just one shot, regardless of the ball you receive. Nor can you expect one setup to work in every market environment.
Never underestimate the power of good deeds They can come back to you in ways you never imagined. Everyone thought @Justin_Gaethje was being sent to the slaughterhouse. Funny how life can turn when you keep doing the right things and never stop believing.
