Moniepoint Drops ₦3 Billion on Innovation Hubs Across 3 Major Nigerian Universities.

In a major CSR move, Moniepoint Inc. is investing ₦3 Billion over the next three years to establish state-of-the-art Innovation Hubs at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU).

These hubs will focus intensely on STEM — software engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, robotics, product development, and entrepreneurship.

Open to students from all faculties, they’ll deliver hands-on, cohort-based training, mentorship, real projects, and direct industry pathways.

This initiative directly tackles one of Nigeria’s biggest challenges: the gap between university graduates and industry-ready tech talent. By building permanent, world-class facilities with curriculum input from Moniepoint’s own engineers, the company is creating a sustainable pipeline of homegrown, high-density technical talent.

As Co-founder & CEO Tosin Eniolorunda said: “Nigeria’s digital economy cannot run on potential alone.”
