@Clarktrocity @BungieHelp You have chosen... Poorly. By now you should realize that you never take time off on launch day. Sure, maybe take the day after launch off, but NEVER launch day.
@joegoroth Forced "engagement" = hard disengage for me at this point. "Lost Sectors aren't rewarding enough, so we're making them harder without adding any rewards because we want to constantly test what our players will put up with as we chase engagement metrics."
@SailorTabbyCat@PaulTassi Not just laying them off, but completely ignoring the WARN act from the sounds of it.
The "Stay home" indicated clearly they're going to try and get away with not paying those who were laid off the 60 days they're entitled to under WARN.
@TS_Venus@PaulTassi 53,000,000 million is what the cited source was stating. It's exactly my point that 53 trillion hours is older than the age of the earth. Maybe you should go back to school?
@GunnelsWarren Good job on a blatant misinterpretation of data - you simply cannot compare CPI-normalized wages to non-normalized housing costs. Doing so destroys your credibility and is counterproductive to your cause. What's worse, it was unnecessary since normalized data shows a problem.
@alLegedgamin@PaulTassi People are conflating the two because the two are inextricably linked. Lobby balancing is unsolvable when the standard deviation of the skill of the chosen 12 is too large. We saw that when Bungie tried and completely failed to improve balancing of the 12 in an IB last year.
@PaulTassi Paul, people have NOT been constantly blaming SBMM. People have, for more than a year now, been specifically blaming its well-documented documented absence for PvP matchmaking being total and complete garbage. Bungie destroyed PvP for the majority to satisfy streamers.
@amazongames Description still says "will be given priority" at an event that never happened yesterday.
Refreshed every 10-15 seconds or so at 8AM PST - never became available.
@Dredgen_Sin@PaulTassi Warframe is 75%+ horizontal progression too.
(yeah there is some great gear with high MR requirements, although right now, even the highest MR requirements are a tiny fraction of the game...)
@LordNexus @PaulTassi Yup. That train of thought MIGHT work if Bungie did what many MMOs do, which is to include all previous expansions for free when you buy the next one.
But since Bungie is different here, gotta raise the power floor more.
