neuroticism is just maladaptive sensitivity

when your sensitivity works against you instead of for you

it's something i struggled with in my teenage years a lot, the neurotic edge is a classic trait of ADHD - it's very easy to spiral into catastrophe loops of overthinking

i mainly quelled mine with alcohol and drugs at first, that was the only thing that could calm down my sensitivity and rapid paced thought loops

i still experience it, but i just let it move through me and express it quickly so i can reflect on it and integrate it and effectively run the loop quickly in order to close and mitigate spirals before it goes bad

i don't always succeed, and sometimes the quickening of it is just very snappy expressions like bursts of neurotic rage

but the bursts do help - steam engines gotta let out steam etc

to love greatly requires an equally great capacity for hate and intolerance

people will scapegoat intolerance and hate as being lowly emotions or feelings of incompetence - but the truth is it’s because they are too weak to handle these feelings so they suppress and demonize them

if you do not have the capacity to hate what threatens that which you love, then you do not truly have the capacity to love

if you love life, but you are too weak to hate that which destroys life, thereby letting life degenerate in front of you without resistance - then do you truly love life as you claim?

if you love life, yet you tolerate its decay - then do you truly love it?

it’s the same for most things

if you have a loved one and watch them destroy themselves while doing nothing to stop or help them - then do you truly love them?

same across it all

do you truly love humanity if you are too weak to put your foot down and try to end the cascade chains into oblivion?

that is the crux of it all
of everything

of everyone

they all claim love is the answer

and yes maybe love is the answer

but the true question is whether they are strong enough to carry love?

and the answer is MOST ARE NOT

their love is not love but tolerance and cowardice and appeasement disguised as love

weak smelly disgusting cowardice, cowardice that will lead us all into the abyss

true love is not for the weak

which is why true love is barren and absent from this world, despite having become such a buzzword and virtue to signal

because they are all cowards

Aristotle viewed the true nature of man to be command and of woman to be obedience

such a perspective is often taken out of context and misinterpreted, leading to the idea of toxic gender roles and so on

but to truly understand Aristotle, one must first understand his era and his surroundings

Aristotle grew up in an age of heros and warriors, he had a hand in tutoring the greatest warrior prince of all time

to Aristotle, these gender roles were not roles of traditional gender toxicity as many in modernity might assume at such a statement

on the contrary, he saw this as the most empowering form of both man and woman

you see it is in this form that both roles find their deepest vitality

for woman to be obedient is not to be some house slave - the macedonian and greek women of the time were actually masters of the royal courts and possibly the most empowered women of antiquity

you see when you understand it from a perspective of devotion and trust, then the entire motion of command and obedience completely changes in ontology

it is not about control as much as it is about trust and being able to fully unfold oneself in the respective formats

for a man to truly command, it requires a strong woman at his back that will obey the family interests and manage his estate - likewise for a woman to truly obey it requires the strength of a commanding force worth obeying

you see it is not about control or micromanagement, it is about bidirectional devotion

when Aristotle said “the truest nature of man is to command and of woman is to obey”

he is speaking at a deeper truth of the gender roles in their magnetic forms

he is speaking in the direction of an Alexander commanding the battlefields while his mother and wives managed the courts of his empire

that is what true empowerment and devotion looks like in the magnetized form

it is,

to be capable of greater talent as a man requires the devotion of a woman that will manage one’s interests behind the scenes without any doubt towards their loyalty

to be capable of greater talent as a woman requires the inspiration of a man that will command forces in front of her

it is a mutual devotion - the meaning of ‘command and obey’ lose their negative connotations when it is approached from this perspective of love and empowerment

- command simply becomes the embodiment of expanding the interests and legacy of the family to the fullest

- obedience simply becomes the embodiment of managing the interests of the family to the fullest

what Aristotle understood, many have since forgotten

the true meaning of the divine feminine and divine masculine

the true meaning of the throne and the engine
