With increasing loss of riparian areas, communities are experiencing reduced water quality, bank erosion, soil damage from wind and sunlight, reduced water storage capacity, and shallow stream widening from sediment deposition. To adress this, there is need for conservation.
Environmental clean up is necessary because it directly improves human health by reducing exposure to harmful toxins and pollutants in the air, water, and soil, which can cause respiratory illnesses, heart disease, and other health problems
Conservation agriculture means less work because it is not necessary to plough the soil and weed as many times. It suppresses weeds and reduces erosion. It improves the soil structure, ability to retain water, organic matter content and contribute to climate action
Slender-billed curlew is no longer existing .New study has determined that the species is extinct, in 2012 there were still 50 .
Protecting and preserving biodiversity is crucial for maintaining the health and stability of ecosystems.
Climate finance is not charity, it’s an investment.
Climate action is not optional, it’s an imperative.
Both are indispensable: to a liveable world for all humanity and a prosperous future for every nation on Earth.

Trees are essential in environment conservation. The future really matters to the young generation hence the need to make it sustainable. Younger generation are key in driving environmental conservation through tree planting.
President William Ruto: Restoring our natural habitats is our best defence against escalating weather extremes. I urge fellow citizens to intensify positive response to the ecosystem restoration agenda which aims to grow 15 billion trees nationwide within the next 10 years.
