Honestly, it undercuts one of the most infuriating things about Israelis, which is how unremarkable they are. Using American money to cosplay as some modern industrial superpower when they're really just another gang of violent religious nuts fighting over the holy land.
@SpeedLight1221@YouNotGonnaWin There’s actually a weird amount of stuff relating Gaster to Papyrus (such as sound cues and phone abilities, not to mention the door and the absence of music in both of their rooms) and I wouldn’t be surprised if the mysterman is papyrus himself
The Donuts Motif has been utilized by Gaster’s followers before. The faceless man’s non goner version uses a doughnut for the part of Gaster he holds. If the doughnuts are made and thrown out, that could be symbolic concerning the forgotten man’s identity/actions
@alixbugbug Lowkey wasn’t buying the papyrus theory but after reading a few really old theories on Papyrus and Gaster’s connection and similarities, plus his absence from the game, I’m genuinely starting to believe papyrus is the knight
@HmsHood473508@Chillyhzcar Since Toriel was conveniently drunk dancing with Sans when she was supposed to be at church in part 4, I think more than likely he’s a defector
@gamingontheleft@turbopisser I mean if we’re talking historically, most of the civilian targets hit have been out of disregard and not direct intent. Less like “we’re gonna kill your family” and more like “hope your family ain’t there cuz we ain’t stoppin”
