Do ya research and you'll find out that, all the 44 public Uni in Ethiopia, students don't get to pay a penny. They live and eat 3 meals a day for 0 dollar. Why can't UOJ do that? You know the answer!

@GarangMaker23 @JohnAkec Unfortunately for public institutions, the answer is YES! It is solely govt responsibility to finance it. However, the students who attend such institutions will have to work for govt'al institutions for period of 2 yrs after graduation to pay back their educational expenses.

However, Jama Juba is saying that's not enough. That student must also pay, WHY?🤷🏾‍♂️

@JohnAkec With all due respect Prof, my advice to you is, don't be hard on students, they're already suffering from alot, our failed government, infrastructure, poverty, etc. Rather you should be hard on government for taking ownership of Jama Juba without fulfilling the needs. Thank you

PUs are 100% funded by Government. However, if government failed to fulfill it responsibility toward the University. For those of you in the management board you can decide that the University is no longer public but private.

Students @AddisAbabaUni eat 3 meals a day, live in campus with 24/7 security and they don't pay a penny. How is the AAU functioning?
