I've made two double-walled inflatable pooltoy suits. Currently practicing simple projects with sheet latex.
Singular they/them! ¡Hablo español, también!

@InflatableShade The argument in favor of public kink, therefore, is that it is a rebellion against conservative control of what's considered acceptable in public, especially because that control exercised by conservatives has been cruel and harmful to the groups that they marginalize.
I want to thank everyone who's been explaining the history & importance of public kink.
The arguments have been helping me to break down how the idea of others' discomfort of such, disguised as an argument for consent, can in fact be a way to oppress anyone non-normative.
@InflatableShade The problem is, even really small acts, like people holding hands, hugging, or kissing, especially done by non-hetero people, can be considered a kink by social conservatives. They even consider a trans/NB person, being themselves, to be a display of kink.
Not good at all.
Okay, y'all. This is going to be a very, very long thread because I am very, very tired of hearing "BDSM requires consent and therefore you Bad Queers should go back in the closet and leave Pride to us Good Clean Queers."
So we're gonna talk history, and we're gonna unpack shit.
@NumaLatex Excellent work! Congratulations!
I remember seeing your sheet latex balloon before, too. It's great to see yet another person getting into inflatable suit making!
I'm still only at the basic practice stages of gluing sheet latex together. It does take quite some patience.
@InflatableShade I meant to reply to this post some time ago, just because I was left worried by it. I know it's been a number of days since, but I at least wanted to check in: how're you doing, currently?
I know it's tough; I certainly miss hugging local friends & cuddling ones I'm closer with.
So today I did something I didn't expect to be able to do. Thanks to @tangorubber, I was able to try out his new inflatable PVC pooltoy bear. I can get quite claustrophobic so we had to take it slow but not only did I fit, but we were able to zip it up and inflate it for a bit!
Tonight was, finally, the first time that I tried my hand at gluing together latex.
I wasn't entirely succeasful, but hey, I feel like I got myself some good experience!
I'm relieved at the outcome of the US election, but we've got work to do.
Already, commentators are trying to blame progressives for Dem losses, when outcomes CLEARLY show it was progressives who were most successful in the general election. So-called moderates were less so.
@Zuelansi If a group is enthusiastic about the battle royale game they're making (minus bug hunting, admin work, deadlines, &c), it's best they go for battle royale.
I'd rather another team come with passion to go through massive stat balancing, world building, &c that an RPG would take.
