Here are some unusual beliefs I hold:

Ideas are alive. They reproduce, mutate, compete, and predate on human substrate.

Good traits correlate. The beautiful are usually kind. The strong are usually smart.

Children are good. Having them is the point.

Man has a fixed nature. ~60% locked by adulthood. Can't be changed, only suppressed or unrealized.

Communication is fundamentally lossy. Every transmission is a mutational event.

The body knows before the mind does. Somatic knowledge is more fundamental than reason. The utility of reason is extremely strange. Reason might be a wholely different kind of thing than reality

Friction is good. It evolves us. Removing it makes everything worse in the very long run.

Only what persists is true. Truth that doesn't survive isn't truth.

Female choice is the primary engine of human quality.

You are your ancestors. Identity is distributed across kin, not contained in the individual.

Authority comes from reliability, not innovation.

Mimesis is the dominant human behavior. Almost nothing people do is original. When something genuinely new is created, it's extraordinarily exceptional, bordering on the divine.

The middle institution is dead in America. Only the intimate and the public remain. This is by design, and probably helps to explain American exceptionalism.

Naming is very powerful way to birth an infectious dea. Birthing an infectious idea is violence to your fellow men. Necessary violence, but violence.
