Always a pleasure getting to engage with our future leaders. It is absolutely amazing (and reassuring) to see the caliber of people joining the Army and choosing to become EOD technicians.
@EODHappyCaptain There may or may not be a podcast being published in mid-September in which a senior EOD officer may or may not say “it’s always the red wire.”
It was great to be a part of this event again this year. Congratulations to all of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines recognized by the Caucus.
Yesterday we hosted our 13th Annual EOD Day. As always, it was a great event where we gathered as a community and recognized the achievements of our bomb techs. Thank you to all who attended and helped make the evening a success! #EOD
Winning Matters! Today, the All Army EOD Team of the Year winners were invited to Capitol Hill for “EOD on the Hill” day, a day that celebrates EOD technician’s contributions to the Armed Forces.
These two techs represent the best of the @USArmy. Special thanks to @HouseVetAffairs for allowing them to take a photo where key decisions on veterans are made!

Congressionally designated, the first Saturday in May is National Explosive Ordnance Disposal Day. Every year on this day the multiservice EOD Memorial Ceremony is held at Eglin Air Force Base, where the EOD community comes together to remember our fallen EOD warriors. #EOD
