🚨This guy knows the real reason Columbus came to America.
In school we were taught he was looking for a new trade route to the Spice Islands.
But not why? Do you know?
He was looking for a route to avoid Islamic pirates. 🤨
Fighting Islam has been happening for many years!
Our first war after we became a country was the Barbary Wars in 1801 against Islamic pirates stealing our boats & supplies.
Listen to this guy… 👇🏻he needs to be in schools teaching this history.
Now we see why Mamdani doesn’t recognize this day as Columbus Day! 😏
Millions of swarming insects descended directly upon the Grand Mosque in Mecca, completely overwhelming worshippers and shutting down prayers across Islam's holiest ground.
In Fatima tonight, hundreds of thousands of faithful are praying the rosary for the good health of the “Bishop dressed in white”, Pope Leo XIV, who will be admitted to hospital tomorrow for surgery to remove a nodule in his lung.
THE FIRST MARIAN APPARITION WHILE MARY WAS STILL ALIVE ON EARTH?!
In the year 40 AD, the Apostle St. James the Greater was preaching in what is now Zaragoza, Spain.
His mission was extremely difficult. Discouraged and almost ready to give up, he was praying by the banks of the Ebro River with a few DISCIPLES. Suddenly, a great light appeared. The Blessed Virgin Mary, still living in Jerusalem at the time, bilocated and stood before him on a jasper pillar, surrounded by thousands of angels, holding the Child Jesus.
She consoled him, encouraged him to continue his work, and asked him to build a church on that exact spot. She left behind the pillar and a small wooden statue of herself with the Child Jesus, treasures that are still preserved today in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar.
This is considered the first Marian apparition in Church history and the only one that took place while Mary was still alive on earth.
St. James obeyed.
He built a small chapel, the first Marian shrine in the world. Strengthened by Our Lady’s visit, he continued his mission, later returned to Jerusalem, and became the first Apostle to be martyred for the faith.
Our Lady of the Pillar has protected that place for nearly 2,000 years. Even during the Spanish Civil War, three bombs that fell on the basilica failed to explode.
Mary has been standing with the Church from the very beginning, encouraging the discouraged, strengthening the weak, and leading us always to her Son.
Have you ever felt like giving up in your faith or mission? How has Our Lady encouraged you in difficult times?
Our Lady of the Pillar, pray for us!
Feast day :Today October 12
7 Saints With Powers That Seemed Superhuman...
Here are seven extraordinary saints whose lives were filled with powerful signs from God:
1. St. Anthony of Padua
One of the greatest miracle workers in Church history. He once preached to a school of fish when people refused to listen, and the fish came to the surface, arranged in rows, and listened attentively!
He is also famous for helping people find lost items.
2. St. Francis of Assisi
Received the Stigmata, the wounds of Christ on his own body. He had such love for creation that birds would gather to listen to him preach, and he tamed a ferocious wolf that had been terrorizing a town.
3. St. Padre Pio (St. Pio of Pietrelcina)
Bore the stigmata for 50 years. He could bilocate (be in two places at once), read souls in confession, and heal the sick. Many people smelled a beautiful fragrance of flowers around him.
4. St. Joseph of Cupertino
Known as the “Flying Saint.” He levitated during Mass and prayer dozens of times, sometimes rising several feet off the ground for extended periods, even in front of large crowds and the Pope.
5. St. Martin de Porres
A humble Peruvian saint who could bilocate, pass through locked doors, and heal the sick instantly. He once cured an entire monastery of the plague through prayer.
6. St. Teresa of Ávila
A Doctor of the Church who frequently levitated during prayer and ecstasy. Witnesses, including nuns in her convent, saw her rise off the ground. She also experienced profound visions and the transverberation of her heart.
7. St. John Vianney (the Curé of Ars)
Could read souls in the confessional with astonishing accuracy, knowing sins people had not yet confessed. He lived on almost no food, battled the devil physically at night, and drew enormous crowds seeking conversion and healing.
All holy saints of God, pray for us that we may walk faithfully in your footsteps today.
I don't know how to feel after watching this.
Dear Muslims,
Is this really true?
Is it a death penalty for whosoever decides to leave Islam?
He said even a child was born into Islam and decides to leave, the person will be tortured and slaughtered.
Let us #PrayTogether that the mental health ministry be established throughout the Church, helping to overcome the stigma and discrimination of persons with mental illnesses. Be a part of this prayer: https://t.co/RQWBPajjtx #PrayerIntention@clicktopray_en
How can you NOT believe in God when octopuses dream and otters have a favorite rock they carry around in a little skin pocket and cows have best friends and bees are out there communicating the coordinates of flowers through dancing and they have regional dialects?
Cats are purring at frequencies associated with bone healing? Forests get absolutely incinerated and respond by growing flowers? Dolphins literally invent names for themselves and yell them across the ocean? Penguins are waddling around Antarctica looking for the perfect rock to give their partner?
CROWS REMEMBER YOUR FACE. THEY TELL OTHER CROWS ABOUT YOU. THEY TELL THEIR CHILDREN ABOUT YOU. YOU CAN HAVE GENERATIONAL BEEF WITH A BIRD. I NEED YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS.
Goats have accents. Rats laugh when you tickle them. Elephants mourn their dead. Whales make songs and then OTHER WHALES LEARN THE SONG and suddenly everybody across the ocean is singing the new song.
Monarch butterflies are born knowing how to fly thousands of miles to a place they have never been.
Sea turtles hatch out of an egg, immediately sprint toward an ocean that they have never seen, disappear into it for like 3 decades and then somehow come back to the same beach they hatched on.
Birds can see colors that we humans can’t see. There are colors out there right now that we don’t even get to know about.
There are sea slugs that eat algae and use the chloroplast/chlorophyll and then are just like…photosynthesizing. And they’re super adorable.
There are mushrooms communicating underground. There are seeds sitting in the dirt for decades like “no actually I will wait. It’s fine.”
Squirrels plant trees because they forget where they put their snacks. Relatable.
A CATERPILLAR GOES INTO A LITTLE BAG THAT IT CREATES ITSELF AND DISSOLVES MOST OF ITS BODY INTO ORGANIC GOO AND REARRANGES ITSELF, GROWS WINGS AND THEN LEAVES. WHY IS THIS NOT MORE BEAUTIFULLY TERRIFYING TO PEOPLE??
And you’re telling me a tiny acorn knows how to become a huge tree? It just has a blueprint inside itself?
Your body started as ONE CELL.
ONE.
And that cell divided itself into a brain that can think about its own existence and eyes that can look at stars and hands that can hold somebody else’s hands and a heart that runs on electricity without you even asking it to?
The iron in our blood was made inside a star??
We are walking around on a wet rock covered in bioluminescent oceans and singing whales and laughing rats and birds holding lifelong grudges and flowers exploding out of fire and somehow we’re supposed to act like this is a normal place to live?
We’re supposed to act like this is all just a random, accidental sequence of events?
