managed to get a leaderboard world record in my speedrun game. not something I was expecting to be able to do when I started speedrunning myself, but I'm very happy with this even though the run itself has room for improvement still with my routing first execution second style.

@og_albina spectrier is super overhyped, all it does well is force prep in exchange for a huge amount of points used, any team that cares will hard counter it. mew is overhyped too, doing most things is great but its offensive sets are not good in neutral situations with only base 100 stats

The most underrated thing about this direct was Nintendo coming up with "Other" Directs for some of these other games.

Allows for more diverse content to be shown, and gives a place for the hardcore AC or Smash fans to actually get excited and watch. Do this more Nintendo.

The Majora's Mask speedrunning community had a vote and made the decision to make "No SRM" 100% the default 100% category. This is A HUGE WIN for the community and a step in the right direction to help drive competition and interest for new players. Faster is not always better
