If you haven't given a thought this morning to what separation means to each of the thousands of children detained at the border, please read this:

When speaking of someone who thinks like a gangster, talks like a gangster and acts like a gangster, words of moral relativity don't work. Even the word corruption doesn't work. This man, his family and his chosen cohorts are all part of the Trump mafia.
The messes Trump is creating get worse and worse: the crisis at the border, the trade crisis that left farmers with no market, the deficit of gargantuan proportions. All his actions are now, at best, a process of applying bandaids to a carcass he is has been butchering.
The Democratic party candidates need to keep repeating the drum beat of unethical criminality that Adam Schiff laid out with the phrase, "You might think it's OK to." It goes far beyond the Mueller report and should go back to the the mocking of a disabled person at a rally.
@politico Lacking intelligence and a willingness to read and think deeply about the issues, lacking a credible team around him, the "solutions" to everything keep coming out at the 3rd grade level, completely lacking in complexity and logical reasoning.
@AnySmallTownUSA@acnewsitics Nailed it on two counts: blaming black people for our injustices, and the immaturity of a media that sucks up the sensational and regurgitates it as news.
@acnewsitics It is you Pat and Laura, who have failed and intend to keep failing at the work of assimilating into the multicultural society we have always been. It was never one white culture. White people need to be fully engaged in the process of assimilating into this pluralistic country.
@thehill No more white men, please. No more for a long while. It will take years of feminine leadership to get us on the right track. Remember there are 2 parts to that phrase - being feminine, and having leadership skills.
@thehill Please stop reporting on this childish, churlish ability to whip up a crowd to salve his childish wounds. Report only on what he is doing to address the needs of our citizens, our country, our world.
@thehill Another meaningless statement not worth reporting. Refuse to report anything but what he has done, what FEMA accomplished or (or didn't), the money that is there to do more, what he plans to do with that money, and the humanitarian needs that require our federal dollars.
@AOC Show me, don't tell me, Betsy. I need you to show me why you are in the position you are in, other than to cut programs you don't even take the time to understand, while promoting only corporate modes of education.
@RepBarbaraLee Among other things, it is shameful to expect to meet such needs through charitable donations - as if these citizens are not integral to the whole fabric of the United States. Would you expect a charitable donation to fund the supplies for your business?
@politico To report on this is to be among the media enabling Trump's mental illness. Report on anything about our country - awareness of the problems, solutions in the works (not in his head) - and quit reporting on these clear signs of his psychological wounds.
@politico Why in the world is this being reported? This is an example of the media giving Trump inappropriate exposure. I wish the media would cover what he is doing and saying as President and stay away from covering his attacks on people.
@ChelseaClinton Iβm so conflicted about the calls now for fund raising to cover this important program. Shouldnt we be out raising voices and raising hell about this instead? So much of the country is now run on donor dollars and charities. Dammit, I want the govt to support the people!
@allinwithchris@PeteButtigieg And leaders who are familiar with the many cultures and ethnicities within the US, not just the one you grew up in and surround yourself with. How else could you design policies and programs that would be right for the nation?
@CNN This man, and his administration, are exemplars of emotional immaturity. Rather than reporting on the daily examples of that, please report on the very real issues we need to address: poverty, hunger, environmental fragility, health, world peace. . .
