@KerryWvet Thank you! It is a great privilege and a lot of fun to look back and see all that I have done, who I have worked with and where I - and some of them! - are now.
I am celebrating 10 years of as a Life Coach! Thank you for your support, encouragement engagement. Many learnings...I am now using Instagram more than Twitter, so would LOVE to see you over there. Please give me a follow and share. Links here: https://t.co/xuS1DwYjpB
Great story of hope, renewal and the power of community. Janey did the Equip for Life course I run with @kidronproject and is a key part of the volunteer team. Believing in the unique beauty and worth of people whatever their starting point is something we can all do.
How are you labelling yourself? As Christmas busyness ramps up,notice your self talk. Would what you are saying to yourself make a good tattoo? If not - choose kinder words, give yourself grace to be who you ARE and not beat yourself up for not being who you feel you ought to be.
Do you sometimes stick negative labels to yourself: "Failure", "stupid", "ugly"? Would you tattoo that word on your body? When we label ourselves thus, we are essentially tattooing that negativity onto our hearts and minds. How to change? More in my blog https://t.co/rviSTG1KuY
How often do you answer a compliment with "Yes but..."? Discounting the positive is a form of cognitive distortion that damages us and is sad for the compliment-er as well. How do we recognise this and what do we do to change? More here:

How often do you mind read and assume they are thinking the worst of you? Choose instead to focus on objective evidence and be kind to yourself. Trust who you ARE and what you CAN do rather than getting stuck in who you believe you are not. More here https://t.co/Q2Ke9FfCTC
2023 is three quarters over. Eek. Are you still filling your Jar of Good Things? We stopped after our holiday, but are back in the habit of writing down something we are thankful for and our jar is filling nicely. Keep going with yours, restart, or start fresh!
It can be too easy to take on things that are not ours to carry. Stopping, noticing and stepping back can be useful ways of sticking to our boundaries. More in my recent blog
Transitions are really tough on the emotions. Don't be afraid to be where you are for as long as it takes. And if someone alongside you to help process and find a way through is what you need, get in touch for a free taster session of life coaching.
Going through a major transition? This is for you. And especially for you if you have a youngster moving on. On seasons of change. - Equip For Life Coaching https://t.co/mkskWys7wT
Change is in the air...for new students, parents of youngsters moving up or on or away, newly empty nesters - so many emotions all at once. Be at peace with how you feel, without judgement, and let these wonderful words reassure you. Thanks @emilypfreeman
If our underlying belief system about ourself is faulty, we can experience neutral or positive events in a negative way, causing distorted or self destructive choices. This is exhausting, damaging, and can lead to mental malaise. There is a way out ...https://t.co/zmtC8gDFm8
Trapped in negative thinking? Hijacked by your emotions into believing an untrue reality? It can be different: stop, notice, be kind to yourself and you can make a more positive choice. More in my blog.
@elizabday@rickastley@howtofailpod I really enjoyed that episode, cried a couple of times whilst listening. Also had the privilege of seeing Rick Astley at Kelvinbandstand last summer, one of the best gigs ever. Comes across as a really nice, genuine and humble guy. Legend.
How do you make decisions? Do you rely primarily on your head, your heart or your gut? Rather than getting stuck in one way of decision making, we can recruit the other two for a more balanced, holistic and healthy way of living. Food for thought, and more in my blog.
