It’s been a rainy weekend, and many of us #Deliveristas are out in NYC, working hard despite the weather.

To all my fellow New Yorkers ordering takeout, please:

1. Be patient
2. Tip generously
3. Rate us well (it matters!)
4. Order local
5. Remember, we’re human, not robots

[Luke Bornheimer (Streets Forward) @LukeBornheimer]

Newly released study shows that separated bike lanes reduce maximum car speeds by 28%, average speeds for turning cars by 21%, and 8% for cars going straight.

If cities want to reduce speeding, they should install separated/protected bike lanes—it’ll also get more people biking!

Glad to see a spotlight on a few of the ways the Adams Administration is addressing the lithium-ion battery fire issue by 1) piloting on-street chargers, 2) setting safety standards for the devices sold + 3) supporting outside and City-led trade-in programs for unsafe devices.
