The fight against illicit drugs is a cornerstone of the Renewed Hope Agenda, and under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has delivered exceptional results in the first quarter of 2026.

The latest data from the NDLEA paints a clear picture of proactive enforcement and judicial efficiency:

· 974 Total Convictions: A testament to the strategic vigor of the NDLEA.
· Steady Monthly Growth: Convictions rose from 265 in January to a peak of 393 in March, demonstrating escalating operational momentum.
· 40.3% in March: The final month of the quarter proved the most decisive, accounting for nearly half of all convictions.

This performance is a direct result of the President’s unwavering support for security agencies and the rule of law.
