A Resounding Victory in the War Against Drug Abuse Under President Tinubu
The fight against illicit drugs is a cornerstone of the Renewed Hope Agenda, and under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has delivered exceptional results in the first quarter of 2026.
The latest data from the NDLEA paints a clear picture of proactive enforcement and judicial efficiency:
· 974 Total Convictions: A testament to the strategic vigor of the NDLEA.
· Steady Monthly Growth: Convictions rose from 265 in January to a peak of 393 in March, demonstrating escalating operational momentum.
· 40.3% in March: The final month of the quarter proved the most decisive, accounting for nearly half of all convictions.
This performance is a direct result of the President’s unwavering support for security agencies and the rule of law.
Dr. @Mohsally , @pi_ctt Chairman, urged robust STI governance at Abuja's 2nd Int'l Conference. Warning against a technology trap, he cited Africa's mere 2% global patents. He stressed that bridging research-to-commercialization gaps is imperative.

"@officialABAT has done a lot. Stop politicizing security let's unite against it. Attacks often rise near elections, since Jonathan's era. As party, we have challenges, but this government delivers: tertiary institution stability, NELFUND,etc" @yesmylo@OfficialAPCNg@nentawe1
"The opposition's low rating doesn't worry the @officialABAT he's delivering. We won 2023, we'll win 2027. Health & Education are talking. We're better & we'll beat them again. Kwankwaso can't win Obi's votes in Kano." @yesmylo@nentawe1@OfficialAPCNg
"The APC might have more votes in 2027 than it did in 2023. With the confusion in the opposition, we will take more votes in fact. It is not in our place to go and fix the problems of the opposition" @yesmylo
"No one is trying to undermine the NSA's office or the Vice President’s. They said the same about Prof. Osinbajo. People will always talk.
When the time is right, the @officialABAT will officially name Shettima as his Vice President" @yesmylo@nentawe1@OfficialAPCNg
"Lagos-Calabar is a key South project. But the North has multiple: Kebbi-Sokoto-Badagry, Abuja-Kano Highway, Gombe-Biu road & Single Window IGR. Social investments, health, education progressing. NSA Ribadu tackling insecurity" @yesmylo@officialABAT@nentawe1@OfficialAPCNg
"Yes, Lagos-Calabar is a major South project. But the North has Kebbi-Sokoto-Badagry, Abuja-Kano Highway, Gombe-Biu road & Single Window IGR. Insecurity? NSA Ribadu is on it day & night." @yesmylo@OfficialAPCNg@nentawe1@officialABAT
President @officialABAT is serious about security. From US partnership to arrest of Oyo kidnap informants, progress is real. But courts must act faster—5 yrs for Owo Massacre justice is too long. NSA on top of it. Let’s finish the job." @yesmylo@OfficialAPCNg@nentawe1
