@SarahJ_Berry So I have been thinking too... Is car sharing economically sustainable? Or is the only profitable version long term rentals like Avis etc? Car2Go pulled out of NYC (and all of NA) and Zipcar is upwards of $400 for a weekend. Renting a car isn't too bad, but hard to pick up

@SarahJ_Berry Oh, fun bonus fact: I bought a hybrid because guilt at even buying a car/can't afford or charge an electric car. It makes a noise to warn pedestrians when you reverse. Most popular mod to the car? Removing that warning noise.

@SarahJ_Berry Bought a car a few months ago. Hate that I had to do. Living in the American west, it's shit for cycling. 40C+ out every day, the roads are wide and all have speed limits upwards of 70kmh.

Plan to bike for as many trips as possible. Would give up the car if it wasn't a req.
