Wesley Sneijder:
"The worst moment in my career was when I left Real Madrid. I felt humiliated. When I arrived to practice, I found my locker empty and all my things put aside.
I went to speak with the president. He didn't give me much time, he just said I didn't fit the plans anymore and they wanted to win the Champions League.
Before I left his office, I said: 'Mr. President know that wherever I go to, I will play to win.'
Two days later, Mourinho called. I had never met him. He said: 'Wesley, I know your situation is tough. Come to Inter and together we will win everything.'
With Mourinho, it was like love at first sight. He guaranteed me that I was one of the most important players and that together we would win the Champions League. Maybe he did that with everybody, but believe me, one year with Mourinho is worth 10 years with another coach."
And you know how it ended. I won the Champions League at the Santiago Bernabeu. I always keep my promises. That was the best moments of my career."
