As we begin our journey through #Lent, let us ask the Lord to grant us the gift of true conversion of heart, so that we may better respond to His love for us and share that love with those around us.
@BrianBrenberg Brian this is very funny, but just a word of encouragement in case you lose from our Lord. “Those who are humbled will be exalted and those who are exalted will be humbled.”
Praying that this finds the right people that can help my family out.

@TheStaad This is obvious bro. Which is why I don’t understand the Trump hate? Of course our politicians won’t be perfect. They’re politicians. They’re important and we should support them because they have an effect, but we shouldn’t expect too much either. Trumps fine, Christ alone saves
@JoshuaTCharles Agreed, before becoming Christian I loved pop music because I thought the artists were everything we should aspire to be. They had it made. When I found Christ I realized they were anti everything good, true and beautiful. It’s vanity to me now. Not interesting.
@TheresaArueyin1 Why even post this? What’s your goal? More division and fighting of Christians? The Catholic Church does not teach any other religions are salvific on there own or anything like religious relativism. This quote is always misunderstood and shared out of context. 😔
One Year Anniversary Update: For my prayer warriors who have been long time followers, and for my newer friends, I would like to update you on a very important subject. Almost one year ago ( February 22, 2025), the lives of my daughter Brenna, and her husband Dan, were forever changed. While enjoying a night out at a restaurant near their home, Dan and Brenna were attacked by a complete stranger, a man who suffered from schizophrenia. The man stabbed Dan in the back, severing his spine, and leaving Dan paralyzed from the chest down. He was lucky to have not bled out on the floor of the restaurant. As we approach the one year mark, both Dan and Brenna have had their share of good days and bad. Positive news is often tempered by bad. Physical progress is often followed by heartbreaking setbacks. I ask that you join me once again in praying the Saint Charbel novena for Dan and Brenna. We pray for Dan’s physical healing, but much more importantly for the emotional and spiritual healing of Dan and Brenna. I will post the first day of the novena tomorrow. As always, I am humbled by, and grateful for, your participation.
@SBakerMD Doctor is it fair to say you truly have no idea? Surely the experience has given you compelling evidence one way or the other. Not proof, but compelling enough that you have at least some idea?
@SwamTheTiber Yes I struggle too. A piece of advice that helped me was, “it’s okay to seek understanding, but never to the point where it disrupts your peace.” For me understanding was for control, but I am learning that’s for God not me.
