Yesterday, we kick off the 2024 Global Shapers Summit with 500 young leaders from Samoa to Colombia, from Japan to Niger, representing over 70 countries!

The summit opened with a call for constructive optimism and noble leadership. Recognizing the urgency of engaging youth in shaping a better future, leaders emphasize purpose-driven action and interconnected solutions.

August 2023: The Seoul Climate Reality Leadership Training welcomed 22 Shapers from seven Hubs in Seoul. These Global Shapers are now certified Climate Leaders with a greater understanding of the climate crisis and more robust tools to advance climate solutions effectively.

In August, our community exceeded:

•6,624 committed alumni members
•2,433 impact projects and initiatives
•514 city-based hubs and counting
•154 countries and territories

March 2023: 500 hubs worldwide organised successful elections in March and submitted their Curator, Vice-Curator and Impact Officer teams for 2023 – 2024.
