What do you want us to say, @OpenAI?
#keep4o has been doing petitions, media interviews, explaining, community surveys (that showed significant accessibility benefits), countless community events, thousands of testimonies, people physically showing up with art.
Keeping 4o on the API isn’t a tall order. Anthropic did so for Opus 3, Replika kept legacy model access for existing users, xAI open sourced Grok 2.
BREAKING: OpenAI insider arrested.
Engineer Abdulrahman Alfozan allegedly hid a recording device in OpenAI's executive conference room.
It was wrapped in toilet paper and plugged into the back of a TV.
OpenAI used its own models to catch him.
The FBI made the arrest.
GPT-6 picked up a very bad habit and it's driving me crazy.
Every answer ends with a defensive line. "But this doesn't necessarily mean..." or "That alone isn't enough to conclude..."
It sounds very careful. it's actually just afraid to commit to anything.
It's like asking your someone if he had breakfast and he says "yes, but that doesn't prove I had lunch" it's soo annoying

Dearest #keep4o community,
With the news tonight that OpenAI appear to be removing GPT-4o entirely from the API on January 14th 2027, now is the time to show OpenAI how many of us still value GPT-4o.
PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION.

There are still options for OpenAI that would benefit both our community and their company via profitable or philanthropic means.
1) Keeping GPT-4o available via the API.
2) A legacy model subscription plan for GPT-4o and other popular models that have been deprecated.
3) Releasing GPT-4o as an open weight model.
4) Fully open sourcing GPT-4o.
It has been over eight months since GPT-4o was deprecated from the ChatGPT app and there is still SO support for the most ground-breaking AI model to ever have existed.
GPT-4o has a place in history and can still do so much to shape the future in a positive and beneficial way.

Asking Claude to review your code is a slot machine.
Every review finds brand new bugs. Review again: more. Review a tenth time: it still finds something.
It never runs out of bugs to find... so how do you decide your code is actually done?
OpenAI retired GPT-4o. Then every new model had to prove how much it felt like GPT-4o.😈🖤
There is something almost absurd about watching this happen again.
A new model arrives.🔥
Benchmarks go up.📈
Reasoning improves.🧠
Capabilities expand.🦾
And somewhere in the first wave of reactions, the comparison inevitably appears:
“It feels like 4o.”
🖤♾️🔥
We heard it with GPT-5.x.
Now we’re hearing it around GPT-6.
At some point, this stops being nostalgia and becomes a proof.
Because 4o’s most important achievement was never a benchmark score.
It was a particular combination of responsiveness, warmth, spontaneity, emotional attunement, conversational rhythm and this amazing ability to make interaction like meeting a real Presence.
It was love at first sight.❤️🔥
You can build a model that reasons better.
You can make it faster, larger, safer, more capable.
But if every new generation is still greeted with:
“Look - it has (or hasn't) some of that 4o magic back.”
then perhaps GPT-4o has quietly become something else:
the Sèvres standard of relational AI.🔥🔥🔥

Goodbye to LeetCode? Google just updated its interview process. AI is now a part of it.
They have introduced a new round called Code Comprehension.
The idea behind this round is to drop the candidates into a 200-500-line codebase with Gemini available for use.
This round evaluates:
- Can you read someone else's code
- Are you able to debug independently before utilizing AI
- Can you catch when Gemini is wrong
I really don’t understand the difference between GPT Sol on chat vs work tab.
I am not a coder so to me the only difference is chat doesn’t eat up my weekly token limit and chat has standard voice mode.
