Eritrean cycling sensational, Henok Mulubrhan of @XDSAstanaTeam, has once again showcased his prowess by winning Stage 3 of the recently concluded Tour de Kyushu in Japan!

He dramatically snatched the coveted Volata jersey from Belgian Intermarché–Wanty rider D. Potter.

Ukraine's Kyrylo Tsarenko claimed the overall Yellow Jersey.

Henok also finished an impressive 5th in the General Classification, cementing his place among the top contenders.

This victory follows Henok's brilliant overall win at the Tour of Qinghai Lake 2024 (China) a few months ago, a race he also conquered in 2023.

His consistent dominance in Asian tours has certainly built him a strong reputation.

It's also worth remembering Henok's Tour du Rwanda 2023 Yellow Jersey triumph.

This year, he narrowly missed out on a second victory, finishing 2nd overall after the final stage was controversially cut short due to rain.

Henok is the only rider to win the African Championships three times!

Currently negotiating his Astana contract, this Eritrean talent proved he's back at his best with today's fantastic win!"

ዝኸበርክንን ዝኸበርኩምን

ሃንቀውታ ደቂሰብ/ህዝቢታት ዛጊት ኣይጨበጥ’ምበር፡ ተልእኾ ደቂ-ሰብ ዝዳጐን ወይ ዝውንዘፍ ኣይኰነን። ሸቶታት ስለዘይተጨበጡ፡ ኒሕን መኸተን ዝሓየለ’ዩ ኪኸውን ዘለዎ።

ናይ ዓለም ህዝቢታት፡ ኣብ ኩለን ክፍለ-ዓለማት፡ ነቶም ናይ ሓባር ክብሪታት ከዐውቱ፣ ሰፊሕ ምሕዝነት መስሪቶም፡ ናይ ቃልሲ ውጥናቶም እናኸለሱን እናራቐቑን ኣንጻር ዕብለላን ወራርን ዝምታን መኪቶም ምእንቲ ኪዕወቱ፡ መሳርዖምን ውዳበኦምን ከወርጽጹ መድረኻዊ ግድነት’ዩ።

Eritrea's Cycling Titan: Amanuel Gebrezgabihier Crowns Himself King of Africa in Grueling World Championship

A beacon of African cycling brilliance shone brightly in Kigali today, as Eritrea's Amanuel Gebrezgabihier After he finished with 30 best riders secured the coveted top spot on the continent.

The event, the final, grueling 267.5-kilometer road race of the 2025 World Championship, tested the limits of every competitor in the challenging Rwandan capital.

The race itself was defined by a moment of brilliance, a swift and sudden attack by Slovenian champion Tadej Pogačar in the few kilometers, which sealed his ultimate victory. However, the punishing 267.5-kilometer distance proved too demanding for many, showcasing the sheer brutality of the course.

The esteemed Eritrean national team, while battling valiantly, faced the harsh realities of world-class endurance racing.

Riders such as Merhawi Kudus, the celebrated Biniam Girmay, Henok Mulubrhan, Nahom Zeray, and Natnael Tesfastion were among those who despite their immense efforts were unable to complete the monumental course within the mandated time limit.
