INB100 releases statement with regard to legal action taken against the dissemination of false misinformation and malicious posts related to Baekhyun.

Formal legal action is being taken against posts through monitoring done by the company as well as reports from fans.

As fans of Lay Zhang (Zhang Yixing), we hereby state our position regarding his inability to participate in the EXO fan meeting.

Throughout the preparation period for collaborating with SM to support the group’s comeback, Lay made every effort to adjust his personal schedule and fully committed himself to the project, with no conflicts in his work schedule. He arrived in South Korea nearly 20 days in advance, practiced beforehand in China with a personal dance teacher who arranged for private at his own expense, and continued intensive rehearsals in South Korea until late night on a regular basis. He also fully participated in various filming activities. All of this clearly demonstrates professionalism and strong work ethic.

However, fans were informed by SM that he would be unable to participate in the performance at the last minute due to force majeure. This sudden announcement caused significant shock and unexpected for fans. In response, Lay immediately issued a public apology and took responsibility covering the travel and accommodation costs of each his fans who bought an away ticket for Fan-meeting event.

Based on these facts, we respectfully submit that the losses incurred should not be borne solely by the artist. As the event organizer and managing event, SM should assume responsibility for the actual expenses incurred by fans, while also providing a clear explanation of this incident and a reasonable justification to Lay and to all fans.
