@deesnider Brother Dee speaks the truth, as usual. Led Zep were being called heavy metal in write-ups back in the late 60s/early 70s. Their hard blues (and Sabbath is def a hard blues-based group, too) did in fact whelp what became bands like, well, Twisted Sister.
