@Progressive says the only option is to wait indefinitely.

Mazda emails promote courtesy vehicles at my selling dealer — yet I’ve been offered no loaner, no rental, no alternatives.

Caution to anyone considering a new Mazda: my 2024 CX-50 has been stuck in a repair shop since November because critical OEM Mazda safety parts are backordered for months.

My insurer’s (@Progressive) position is to wait indefinitely unless the parts are discontinued.

No loaner, no alternatives — just “wait.”

I wouldn’t have bought this vehicle if I’d known parts delays could take it off the road this long.

I would not recommend that. I bought a brand new 2024 cx-50 and a deer jumped in front of me on the highway. I’ve been without a car for 2 months now and the current eta is the end of March (4 months) before Mazda will supply the needed safety parts for repair. No options given or any resolutions, just is what it is. You would not think a brand new car would have to wait 4+ months for parts.. but apparently that’s the @mazdaUSA way

I never rant on here but I feel like I am being punk’d. @progressive is the absolute WORST insurance company I have ever dealt with. Two days in a row the inspector did not show up or call. After multiple calls, I was told my appointment was canceled as my claim needed to be investigated, lol.

A claim for hail damage when we had 5 TORNADOS that day and golfball sized hail. Everyone has damage. Watch the news. Investigation complete. Nope, I was then contacted by a “Special Investigation Agent”😂😂 and told I have to wait 6 WEEKS before they will even look at my car. 6 WEEKS! Worst company ever. #Scam #progressive
