The convo needs to be had! I see coaches downplay kids that have great speed on film because they ran 4.6-4.7 laser at these combines and they’ve never trained properly to run one. We have to have some basic sense here and stop penalizing great players for this in HS!

Out of 16,184 high school athletes tested using the same system used at the NFL Scouting Combine:
▪ ZERO ran under a 4.4.
▪ ONLY 1 single athlete out of 16,000+ ran a 4.401.
▪ Only 0.37% (60 athletes total) actually hit a true 4.501 to 4.600.
If you are claiming a 4.6 without a laser receipt, you are guessing. And college recruiters don't offer scholarships based on guesses.
Stop letting stopwatches lie to you. Get Zybek-verified and see where you actually stand on the national board.
