@EdwardZwick1 No show has ever hit me so profoundly differently on a rewatch. I was able to watch it in my 20s completely identifying with the teenagers, and in my 40s completely identifying with the parents.
@lindaholmes Also, the "sky-high" costs of launching a Broadway show are comparable to a high-end independent film or the very cheapest studio movies. And while the upside is much lower, a successful show does price long-term cash flow, where all but the biggest movies basically pay out once.
@lindaholmes Since sometime in Season 2, I think, Kendall has had Schroedinger's Sobriety. You could interpret any scene as though we'd just missed seeing him doing a couple of lines, or that he hasn't done coke in a year or two.
