@houlihan_rick Then I dislocated my shoulder while playing football. Was off work for a while and got bored sitting around!

Looked into doing a course for a year, which is done in college here. I was able to apply for grants because I was seen as a mature student.

@houlihan_rick I recently moved on from them and back working on a much smaller team/infrastructure. But my experience working with smart people is they know no one knows everything! Once you are willing to learn it if you don’t know it then that should be good enough!

@houlihan_rick I also do installs in the DC of all sorts of IT equipment/devices. I worked here for over a year and a half, nearly two years.

Since then I’ve gotten my CCIE and have worked for the largest cloud provider on the planet for around four years.

@houlihan_rick I was the only person to complete the course and also get my CCNA, which I passed on my first attempt! I got a job working for the hosting company I did my work experience with. I was a NOC engineer. Working on customs requests for FW rules and VPNs.

@houlihan_rick I finished the Sound Engineering course and made up my mind I wanted to work with computers. Looked into a IT course and came across one that offered Cisco Netacad training which didn’t mean much to me as I never heard of Cisco!

@AFTVMedia SIde note we are turning in NFL by working of stats. The football game is 90mins and during 90mins anything can happen. You can use your stats for Gabriels next AFC game and can this forcast the future,he will have an expecial game! but hes human and not a robat,he wil make FUs!

@colmmacc I got a business card the other day from the person I was dealing with it while renting a car. It came in very handy when I needed to ring them in relation to an issue with the car!
Like everything else the card has evolved 😉
