@1a @GerkenHeather @LSongRichardson @ericgertler @AngelBPerez @melissakorn Sorry: independence to *produce misleading marketing

[Eric M Seidelman @EricMSeidelman]

@1a @GerkenHeather @LSongRichardson @ericgertler @AngelBPerez @melissakorn I think Higher Ed in the U.S. is essentially the wild west. Colleges have so much independence (including independence to mislead marketing) objective info sources are really needed! Maybe not ranking, but at least metrics.

[Eric M Seidelman @EricMSeidelman]

@anmnk @1a @GerkenHeather @LSongRichardson @ericgertler @AngelBPerez @melissakorn I agree with this line of questioning. However, students get their information from somewhere....and I believe among those sources (peers, counselors, etc. . .), U.S. New & World report is still relevant.

@sleepcycle I was experimenting with some of the sleep aids but then my app crashed. Now it seems it is stuck in a crash cycle because beginning sleep mode triggers the sleep aid I selected which prompts an immediate app crash.

@DrPaulOffit Listened to your segment on @scifri last week. Does getting and surviving COVID-19 really confer immunity? I heard you say yes, but I've heard others say no. What reason is there to believe you could be reinfected?

[Eric M Seidelman @EricMSeidelman]

@1a @alisoneroman @ChefKwame @gbullard What about just creating a menu for your home over the next few weeks and shopping off of that menu, rather than scrounging for food haphazardly?

[Eric M Seidelman @EricMSeidelman]

@WBEZreset @DrKhare911 Can you explain why the focus on cleaning face masks so rigorously if the whole point is for ME to not infect others. Obviously I can't infect myself... is it just because people's mouths are wet and masks will grow mildew? If two people are wearing cloth masks, what is the fear?

[Eric M Seidelman @EricMSeidelman]

@ayesharascoe If possible, please press the White House about the silence about new testing. How does reentry to normal life *NOT* involve testing literally every American for COVID-19?

@1a Friday news Roundup: Do any of the panelists feel that Bill Barr’s announcement about capital punishment came exactly at the moment Trump wanted us to stop thinking about the Rob Mueller report?

[Eric M Seidelman @EricMSeidelman]

@MailchimpStatus I cannot view Campaigns on my dashboard. Is Mailchimp aware of an ongoing issue?

[Eric M Seidelman @EricMSeidelman]

@jpcramer I'm guessing they believe class+class+class=degree=job.

[Eric M Seidelman @EricMSeidelman]

@SHRMHRNews What do I do if my employer won't provide a SBC for our three new plans during our open enrollment period? Isn't this required?

[Eric M Seidelman @EricMSeidelman]

@themorrancave @rickhamilton620 @consumerist @ConsumerReports Well, I'll have you know I've been paying my CR online subscription.... for what it's worth. Thanks for the info and all the info... ever.

[Eric M Seidelman @EricMSeidelman]

@themorrancave @rickhamilton620 @consumerist @ConsumerReports Is there a particular post the Consumerist made that snapped CR's board or something? Maybe something about the CFPB?

[Eric M Seidelman @EricMSeidelman]

@KCoxDC @consumerist Don't go away! There must be dozens of news and consumer reporting outfits that would kill for your team.

[Eric M Seidelman @EricMSeidelman]

@themorrancave @rickhamilton620 @consumerist @ConsumerReports Is there any possibility of your team rematerializing somewhere else? ProPublica? Npr? WNYC?

[Eric M Seidelman @EricMSeidelman]
