@Cardinals_Live_ I don’t think the Blues will pay the price SJ will want for 2. I also think that if they do move up at all it should be to take a defenseman and not a winger. I like Stenberg but our biggest needs are C and D so it just doesn’t make sense to pay that price for a winger.
@Nathan60079304@BluesReactor I think we will have to pay someone to take Buch and his contract. I don’t see him getting moved unless we land a couple players elsewhere and agree to sell low on him.
@BluesReactor I wouldn’t trade Thomas. Wallstedt isn’t as proven as Thomas so I think picks and another player I’d go for it. Obviously some of our guys would be off limits but if they can make a reasonable trade for him I’d do it.
@BluesReactor If we could get Wallstedt from MN and have him and hofer as a young pair for the foreseeable future I think that would be great. Trade Binner and his contract to someone else. Would give us a young duo with a ton of potential. Agree with your needs as well.
@IamScottSinger1 This years draft isn’t as highly rated as many years so I think they could trade up for a heavy but not exorbitant price. I’m good with moving up or turning them into young talent that’s NHL ready this year or next. Possibly package them and some players to do both?
@SensFan97_ I’m of the opposite opinion. I think all 16 non-playoff teams should have a shot at number 1. Odds should be closer so each team has better odds. Stop rewarding teams not trying to win. Make them field competitive teams more frequently.
@OleTimeHardball How the F&@k does he not get in. Strictly should get in just off the difference in the number of steal attempts against him compared to the next team. Teams were scared to try to steal against him.
@Nick_Hand I know fans are high on neighbors but I’d be open to a including him, either 11 or 15 (not both) CO pick and another young player not Jiricek/Snuggs/Carbs/Dvorsky/Stenberg. Add more draft picks or a veteran if needed. We can’t weaken our D.
@ForRealTheWorst @Nick_Hand I think SJ specifically would want a younger defender. Not sure Blues would trade both 11 and 15. Would probably rather trade more players or more picks with 1 of the 2. Parayko reportedly did say he’d go west but I’m not sure he will be moved.
@JoeInTheKnow4@Nick_Hand I think they might knowing that Kyrou would expect to perform better on a line with Celebrini. I think the ask would be Kyrou, 11 or 15, CO pick and a young Defender. Stenberg is expected to be elite but not Franchise caliber. Adding speed, experience and proven production.
@Y98Ryan@Nick_Hand I don’t think they should/would have to pay all that. The top 2 picks are elite talent potential but not franchise caliber based on the experts.
@NathanT78802527 @Nick_Hand I think they would take that plus maybe a third round or the CO pick but I don’t think Blues should trade both 11 and 15 unless there’s more on the return.
@BluesProspects1@Nick_Hand I wouldn’t trade any of our D prospects other than Tucker/Kessel. Wouldn’t trade Snuggs/Carbs/Dvorsky/Stenberg. I’d trade neighbors before them. Kyrou, 11 or 15 and another pick possibly CO. Top 2 picks are expected to be elite but not franchise so price shouldn’t be ridiculous
@irocz11@STLBluesViews I’m curious how expensive though since this draft is expected to have elite but not franchise talent. The top 2, then 3-13 or so are expected to be good. I don’t know if the price will be as high as other years. I wouldn’t trade both 11 and 15 but 1 and the CO and a player sure
@jackrichrdson I really don’t understand the reason of doing the 4 digit code? Make each positions chance a whole percentage and then drop 100 balls in split by the percentages and then draw them at set intervals and that’s the order. Once a teams ball is picked you just redraw if picked again
