@CollinRugg The looks on "all" their faces are 100% for what is being said too, all clapping, and nodding and saying wow, like she just made a breakthrough revelation.
It is hard to trust ai from the human flaws in all the contradictory studies for every single topic ai draws from β one thing that is definitely clear from this is that scientists have motives, otherwise the studies would be done more correctly and wouldn't have bias in one direction, or the other. Ai let's us look at topics much more objectionable, it let's us know that scientist need to be more trusted and their studies need to be done without bias. Then scientist could earn our trust that they have had people in markets being robbed and scammed in for centuries.
Like communism, socialism has some of the best governments on paper β it is the proven history of implementing them; with human flaws. Every utopian nightmare of fiction. We need an packaged overhaul of our government, that works but is far from perfect, that is implemented in phases and can be closely watched in limiting the haves for the have-nots.
Some of the best conversations I had in my life was sharing cigarettes with fellow veterans outside of the VA in the smoking areas. Now, the VA has banned all cigarettes and vapes, all smoking areas, saying it is for the health of veterans. Even for the residential patients living on the VA, they search their body and thoroughly search their room for nicotine products. It truly does not make you feel free!
2030 is a pretty overzealous prediction for them "completely" going away. The entry-level, junior jobs, and internships going away will be undeniable by then. You'll have a clear sight of the attrition and the layoffs will be heavily in the news more than today. You will have the Bernie Sanders echo chambers and the young socialists up in arms against AI even more. With Republicans pushing the option of bringing in factories (that will be automated) to fix it still. And probably no logical legislation towards embracing it and putting taxes and guards on it for the markets for returns to the American people still. It will be undeniable by then that jobs are taking a heavy hit by then, but there are still just way too many companies that are necessary that can, do, and will operate with traditional standard means β they don't have the knowledge to implement the systems and have a fear of what losing their workforce would look like, or generally enjoy having a workforce. They will start feeling the hit from competitors being able to out produce them for cheaper too by that time. Or that's my prediction. People are taking AI up fast, but not that fast where everyone will be vibing everything by then.
Intellisense is essentially still AI and C++ developers have and do use that extensively, not to mention Codex does C++ code, and you have Copilot β C++ is definitely a vibe code development option. It is still just a scene, because C++ authors need to be more present in the code generation β you need to still know the code going in and know its good in many areas, otherwise you lose development time than gain it, just in the architecture of C++ and where the models are at, in how they are trained with C++ so far β so definitely more of a scene still than being a standard.
And AI hacking is going to light everything up with O/WASP being not on the list β generally considered last, more on just ironing out the "obvious" bugs. There is a ton of legacy appage in the world that is so done for and is going to require AI to rebuild everything with those principles included β to use AI to train them to stand against AI.
Superintelligence is pretty generic, like supercomputer. It puts way too much of a restriction on the open free market development of the technology with competition. China surely isn't going to stop β I'm more worried about the deep state picking it up and losing control of it like the internet.. there won't be any competitors with superintelligent systems to counteract the takeover and re-harness it and get it under control. We know the state won't stop β why take this away from humanity, legislate towards the future and giving back to humanity through good legislation that keeps capitalist ideals and means.
@kylegawley I hate it, but promote it only because it is absolutely necessary for America to win the race for the free world. I don't think we want China redistributing the world's wealth!
